This set costs $15 more than the set without the tub. Is this tub worth that difference, given that you could use some Tupperware container instead?

I got the one with the tub, but I wouldn't do it again. It is hard plastic and will hold up well with the cleaner that smells like bleach, but it's hard to open and not worth the extra $15.

How often do you recommend using the crystals...if it's daily this pricey compared to other denture cleaning ?

I don't recommend using them at all. They don't really work to keep your aligners white. You are better off and cheaper using denture cleaning tabs.

Can the manufacturer please explain why i can not just use ordinary inexpensive denture cleaning tablets instead of these expensive crystals?

We do not recommend the use of denture cleaners or mouthwash with Invisalign products as we cannot guarantee that these will not damage the aligner/retainer.
