Do you see all purple when looking out of these? Or are these even meant to be worn?

The purple lenses are very hard to see through, not for wearing for sun protection. More of a prop. You can unscrew the lenses or buy a different color but purple is more like a welding visor in terms of see through

What are the color of the lens?

The lenses themselves are clear. There is a purple film (like a lighting gel) inlaid to create a purple color. The film can be removed.

Can you see through them or are they more for wearing around your forehead/hat?

you can see through them but they are more prop quality. I affixed them to a hat. They are nice but not sturdy enough to wear and take on and off.
