VS America Hokki Stool, Flexible Ergonomic Seating Stool for Kids and Adults, 18" Seat Height, Green

My son can finally sit in class and focus. I bought this stool for my 5'2" 11 year-old 5th grader, who can not sit still in a regular chair unless he is reading for pleasure or watching a video. He constantly gets up and paces. He loves this stool and it is worth the price. First we tried the Isokinetics 14" Balance Cushion, because it was less expensive, and I thought being portable would be a benefit when he moves to other classrooms during the day. But my son didn't like sitting on it. The Hokki stool is well made, sturdy and surprisingly light weight. The 18" size is perfect for my son and fits well at the student tables in his classroom. Even I, at 5'8" am comfortable sitting on it. I wish I had bought one for him sooner, and plan to buy another one for use at home.

Our 12.5 y o hyperactive son has used this stool for five years! It’s been wonderful; it’s allowed him to have meals with us, whereas before he couldn’t because he couldn’t sit in one place for very long. Sometimes he’ll just go to the stool and move around; it helps him relax. There are lots of YouTube videos that show it in action.

I was very excited to get this product and was hopeful that it would work as an alternative to a yoga ball while working on the computer.I have two boys ages 12 and 10 and they often prefer to use a yoga ball when they need to type out essays.I read every review that I could and was hoping to love this product.I figured that for over a hundred dollars it must be a great product.It is light but I felt like it was just cheap, could crack or break easily. It is no different in quality from an Ikea children's stool that is $15. It is VERY difficult to sit on. I don't understand how this product can be touted as helping someone sit still when it is difficult to balance on. My 10 year old fell off it the first two times he tried to sit on it. I practice yoga daily and balance is not a challenge for me and I wanted to get off this chair ASAP. The product is described as having a soft seating area which is very misleading. It has a layer of silicone no thicker than what is on my phone case.My sons and I all hated it from the moment we opened it. I immediately contacted the company (same day) to go about making a return and getting a refund.The person I dealt with regarding a refund with the Kaplan Early Learning Company was unprofessional and it was overall a very unpleasant experience. As a VERY loyal Amazon customer it made me yearn to deal with an Amazon customer agent and I will be very careful if I ever order from a non- Amazon seller again.In all it was a $20 mistake as that is what it cost me to return ship it. It took the company over a month to refund my money. Because I used track shipping I know what day they received it. They did not contact me until almost a week later to say that they had received it and then it took another couple of weeks for the refund to show up on my credit card.I do not recommend this product.

I bought this with the mindset that I would only spend that kind of money for a stool if it did exactly what it said it would. Not only am I keeping it, I'm ordering a second because the one keeps getting schlepped up and down the stairs. I bought it for my very active 8 year old. He does not have problems with attention, but rather that he circles around while working on things. This keeps him in one place during meals and doing homework. I think my husband wants to get one for himself!

My family loves these so much. We have one as a desk stool (18"), one for my wiggly 7 year old to sit on at the dinner table (18"), and one for my 5 year old to play around on (15"). We all adore them.

It’s just what I expected. I use it at my computer. Helps keep the stiffness down.

Purchased for my classroom. My students LOVE them and this stool definitely helps those that need to wiggle while working!

our school PTO purchases a few of these each year for classrooms,they hold up well and the kids really enjoy getting to sit on them!
