Good question. After removing the handle and two screws you should see a small hole above the spline (the gears the handle attach to). If you insert a screwdriver and twist the cover should come off, although I have had limited success with this method. Another option is to open window insert a screwdriver from the exterior into the operator on the opposite side of gears against the cover and gently tap with a hammer and cover should pop off. The final method is to remove the wood trim over the operator then the cover will easily pop off by squeezing in the sides of the cover. If you need more help, contact Colden Solutions directly.
