Cannot tell there the repair is now. Did not need an undercoat - just applied a first and then second coat and let it dry for a full 24-48 hrs. In total I kept it dry for about 3 days. Review: Perfect Match! - I cannot tell you how thrilled I was with this product. I just moved into an apartment that was redone two years ago and had a brand new tub. The previous tenant left a chip the size of two quarters that was filled in with regular paint. It was chipped down to the black. I tried the rustoleum kit which was white--the tub was not. The tubs manufacturers sticker was left on the front of the tub so I was able to figure out that it was made by bootz. Their website recommended Porc-a-fix. I applied 3-4 coats and wet sanded with 600 grit wet sand paper in between each coat and allowed each coat to dry 24 hrs. at the end buffed with an old soft white t-shirt. I can't even see where the repair was! Buffing with the t-shirt brought the sheen up to the same shine as the surrounding porcelain!
