Question 1

Does it stick when the sword is in the Scabbard? Like can the sword fall out when it's upside down in the Scabbard?

Mine does not "stick".. It does not really fit fully seated into the scabbard or stay in place if hung upside down..
That said, its letter opener and not a sword that I ride into battle with so it doesn't really matter..
Spends it's time laying on my desk or hanging from the clip where it doesn't disappoint.
I'm a big GOT fan, so I think its cool.

Question 2

Has anyone used this to open packages? Not cutting actual boxes/cardboard but opening the tape

I haven't, the blade is thick and dull plus the tip on mine is blunt. Just got it as a collectable and not for letter opening. You might be able to file a point in order to score tape cutting it maybe but I wouldn't. Not sure what type metal the blade is. So putting pressure on it may just make it snap. And it may just damage the blade trying to add an edge. Sorry for not being more help. Maybe others have tried to alter the  blades and can provide more information.

Do you realize this is 1/6 for the full sized swords. "needle" would only be about half this length and "cat's claw" 1/4 this size for accurate 1/6

:3.82 scale, it's close to 1/4th scale. The actual sword length is stated as 31.5 inches online. The miniature is measured out at 8.25 inches. Assuming that the sword length is correct online, I believe it is pretty close to the 31.5" overall. I've got the actual sword but it's boxed up. So yeah you're correct it's not 1/6 scale it's closer to 1 : 3.82 scale basically 1/4th scale approximately. At 1/6 scale the miniature would be 5.25 inches
