do the 600 and 900 watt cups fit this?

Yes, they do. My 900 watt broke. I kept the cups and am still using them with this.

Can I make soup in the Nutribullet Prime?

It blends everything to a liquid so it should be a good way to make soup .

Will this grind coffee?

I use my 900W pro to grind coffee using the milling blade, not the extractor blade. I've read on a qualified review site that the 900W will mill coffee with the extractor blade just fine. I have no problem milling coffee beans into ground coffee for my drip coffee maker. I can't think of any reason why the 1000W version would be any different.
