Therapy Toolkit: Sixty Cards for Self-Exploration

FOR SELF-THERAPYI know this publisher does a lot of great quality unique decks with lots of cards for a very affordable price. I also have their Dream Decoder and Feminist Oracles. This is an exceptional tool that will take you to places when you use it as a tool for journaling and self-reflection. It is able to really get quickly to a variety of issues that you may have repressed and the questions help you work through this. I typically pull one and explore it in my journal. It's always able to help me resolve issues in general. To think that for $17 you can access a kind of therapy which is definitely better than doing nothing. The good thing is you can control the pace and what you focus on.AS ORACLE CARDSI also like to use these as oracle cards when I do tarot readings. They give a lot more concreteness to readings and the background of issues. You can also use the images and read them just intuitively or use just the backs to link the issues to gather in your reading. I really enjoy it all. Using it in this way I shuffle with my question in mind and then allow the number of cards I want to use to come out - often 1, 2 or 3 cards. Then I look at the info on the backs and then flip the images around to read it semi-intuitively. After that I can clarify with tarot cards. It often very accurate for myself and others and gives great insight into the reason behind the querent's actions or the issues they struggle with currently.CONCLUSIONThe card stock is sturdy as most of the Laurence King decks are but this one has matte and seemingly uncoated paper. My only worry is that they will get grimy quickly from handling without the coating on the cards. However they are affordable enough to buy a back-up. Great gift for someone who you know is going through a healing journey or for use personally. It will help you resolve so much over time with consistent use.

These are excellent cards: great pictures and written explanations. Very useful in a therapy session when a client cannot find the right words.

Just wish they had more prompts for journaling :)
