Originally, I bought just the drum rollers. If you know nothing of mechanics, this was a bad idea. There are axles with triangular clips. Remove those clips and you can reuse the axles. But, remember to buy the clips. This was a fairly simple repair with a lot of moving parts. In this house, we somehow end up with screws we took out that have nowhere to go! The dryer works and no more noise. Youtube and RepairClinic.com--winners. I also replaced the belt while I was in there. This is a 12 year old washer/dryer set that many have complaints about. When I bought it, I was aware of some simple flaws...not keeping the washer door shut because the seal causes a mildew smell, and the dryer sensor is most efficient on two settings...speed dry and air. Boom. I have gotten my money's worth!

These are non-original replacement parts, but they fit perfectly. I only used 2 of them to replace the front rollers, since one of those was always acting up. The two rear were fine. I did notice that there is a little play in the roller on the shaft. I don't know if this will cause problems, but OK after 3 months, plus I nave 2 more, just in case.

These work and will solve your noise problem....for about 1 year. After a year the bearings start wearing out and these become annoyingly squeaky and you are back to the problem you tried to resolve to begin with. So you choice is $35/yr to keep changing these out or ~$85 for the regular OEM LG replacement ones.

Easy to install rollers. Each time they are used they warm up and develop tiny flat spots once the drier shuts down and rollers cool off. This causes some minor noise issues when you next start the drier but works themselves out and quiets down in less than half a minute.
