## Questions & Answers

**Q: what is the shelf life in warm/humid climates?**
A: Shelf life would be until expiration date for unopened bags if kept in a cool dry place (or in fridge, once opened it should be used in 4-6 weeks.

**Q: Could I use the formula for hand feeding a baby pigeon?**
A: Any food specifically made to hand feed a baby bird would be fine. Harrison's makes an excellent product that should give the pigeon the nutrition it requires.

**Q: Can I use this for my parakeet (a budgie)? He is so skinny and not eating well :((((**
A: I would have an avian vet examine uou parakeet first to see what the underlying problem. The food eill not fix an infection or other disease. Good luck!

**Q: This formula seems sticky and slimy compared to others. Is that normal?**
A: Mine was slimy as well. I found that mixing it with cold water and then heating it up helped some. My chicks still preferred it over another brand I had.

Sadly I can only go on my experience I've tried it on five foster baby parakeets & not one of them seem to enjoy it. Also tried it as dry mixed into seeds & they refused to eat the seeds! To be honest even I couldn't handle the smell of it But that's just my experience - maybe better for others
