If Goldilocks had this toaster - she would say "It's just right!!" Finally a perfect toaster.
All I ask of a toaster is this: lower my bread into the slot, heat it until it's the golden color I chose, then send it back up. Don't make me pop it up and down multiple times to see if it's burning, or not cooking, don't make me flip it around to toast the other side. And could you please do the same thing the next day? This toaster actually does its job. It's FABULOUS. 2 people in the house. Both like a different shade of toast. We don't use big or fat bread - just basic, artisan sized grain bread. This toaster has some perfect features to accommodate for most anything - my favorites: 1. Memory feature: his and hers for us. 2. Quick View button: is my toast burning or not cooking? One touch of the button for a peek without resetting the timer. 3. +30 second button: okay, wish my toast was a tiny bit browner, but I don't want to burn it - this is your go-to feature. On top of that, mechanical lower and raising of the bread - quiet and zen-like - not a fan of slamming the levers. And did I say it actually toasts my bread on both sides!!! Thank you. (My toast is more golden that it looks in the photo's - it's a tan/brown color bread). Let me also say this: it's a crapshoot whether the heating coil cards on any toaster come out of the factory working like they should. They all use the same parts made at the same place using the same lower quality components than what we had in our life before. If you can find a toaster that does its job, looks like you want and fits your budget - it's a good thing. No, it's doesn't make the buzzing sound some mentioned in reviews. If you use super thick, super long bread, this isn't for you - find a toaster that's made for that. (Don't try jamming oversized bread in - yes, you will ruin the mechanical raise/lower feature). The cord length is just right. If you're toasting 1 slice - use the 1 Slice button - it's made to adjust the heat for just one slice (doesn't matter which side). It actually comes with a paper instruction guide - read it. This was our third and final attempt at finding a replacement toaster. For us it's perfect. PS - all of my family and friends that have a Duolit happen to have them all on the blink right now :-) Even the "premier" of toasters fail.

Beautiful Toaster Not Worth a Darn
Really like the auto toast "drop and lift" - classy! Worked well for a couple of weeks. Then toast started to appear black on one side, hardly toasted on the other. I looked closer and noticed that many of the thin heat elements were not working. On other sides, most of them were working. I believe I've read this in other reviews of this model. I'm sorry to say that the heating element portion of this toaster is very cheaply made, or some of the heating element wires burn out easily. Anyway, do yourself a favor and look for a different toaster!

The Best Toaster
Who knew a toaster could be so cool? Our old toaster never toasted both sides of the bread whether there was one or two slices in. This toaster not only toasts both sides evenly, but is really fun to use! I mean touching the digital panel and then watching the toast go down on its own is totally cool! And I like that it shows how long it will be until the tast I done. ! One minor drawback is when you plug in the toaster in the quiet of the morning, it emits a very loud series of beeps that even though you expect it, the sound is startling. But I still love this toaster!

Got a lemon and Cuisinart took care of it.
I’ve always considered Cuisinart to be a reputable, high-quality brand, but my recent experience has caused me to reassess that opinion. I purchased this toaster on September 1, 2024, and it worked fine until the second week of October, when the heating element completely stopped working. The motor still functions to raise and lower the bread, but it no longer heats up or toasts anything. It’s frustrating to have a $65 stainless steel toaster sitting unused in my kitchen after such a short period. Unfortunately, this occurred just outside of Amazon’s return window, so I’m left with a non-functional appliance. I’m hoping someone from Cuisinart reads this review and takes action to address this issue. EDIT: Cuisinart replaced it. All it took was registering the toaster and reporting the issue on their website. They asked for a picture of the old one with its cord cut. So far so good 👍

This tooth slice motorized toaster is amazing.
This was my second option in buying a motorized toaster. The first I went with was double the price. The results were not worth that. This toaster works perfectly. I have made toast, Breakfast pastry, Homemade bread, Waffles, Bagels, and Frozen pancakes. All with great success. The shade levels for toast and everything else comes out perfect. There is a memory function. As well as the option to do one item at a time. I highly recommend this for the price.

DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS ONE
Al I want is a good two slice toaster. Shouldn't be hard, right? I have been searching for a toaster that works properly for a long time. I had hope for this based on reviews. But, I have been disappointed. It has several different bread types for toasting, I have not found one that works evenly. One side will be toasted correctly, the other side is barely toasted. DO NOT BUY

Toaster did not toast properly.
Had to order another one and return the original since it did not toast properly on both sides (see pics). Toast had one side darker than the other. Also bagels only toasted 2/3 the way up. If you look at my other review for the coffee maker made by Cuisinart, you will also see I had to return the coffee maker as well. It’s hard to believe the prices you pay for these Cuisinart namebrand appliances and have to return them due to defects and poor quality control. Two products and two returns. The reason I exchanged both of them is they each have features that are desirable and useful. Otherwise I would not have kept them.
