This is ScubaMax's Spandex hood made with UV50 heavy Spandex material. Helps protect anst sea lice and sea nettles. Very lightweight and flexible. They are ideal for tropical waters and designed for divers and snorkelers.

Review: Works great - I have an extra large head and it works really well. The flared out base stays underneath my rash guard easily and definitely protects my head from torching sun and jellyfish among other seaweed and garbage floating on the surface of the water. Definitely worth the money and good quality stitching. You don't need sunscreen wearing this hood.

This good provided excellent UV protection without any effect on my body temperature. It was comfortable, especially keeping my very long hair from tangling with my mask. I love it!

I have an extra large head and it works really well. The flared out base stays underneath my rash guard easily and definitely protects my head from torching sun and jellyfish among other seaweed and garbage floating on the surface of the water.
