The phone holder is very helpful in keeping my phone where I can find it. That’s a big plus for me. The only problem is that the phone sits right in front of your Information Display. I knew that when I purchased it but I thought it would hold the phone sideways in order to better see the Information Display. It does not hold your phone sideways. Your phone will just fall out into the floor. It is very easy to install. The quality seems pretty good but I’m going to have to use it for a while to see if I got a good deal for my money.

The parts were perfectly machined and it fit like it was an OEM part. However the phone holder part with the Union Jack was scratched already and the graphic got more scratched once I put my phone in. That's why it lost a star for me... Also it blocks the rearview camera if the phone is in, bit that was expected and a minor inconvenience.

Listen. First of all. Great product. Well done but you need to know that the holder is designed to hold the phone portrait position. It uses the weight of the phone so if you have a heavy phone and pívot the holder sideways, it will slip out especially if you have no cover to your iPhone. I have an iPhone 13 pro max and it is too heavy. The part bag goes into the console is awesome. The holder could be better or other options. Now I am looking for another part I can combine to the two. Sigh.

I was pretty disappointed in this product sadly. First the good, it fits perfectly in the Mini, in that sense it's brilliant. It does block the Mini's video screen, but so far as i can tell the screen doesn't do a lot. Unfortunately, it arrived scratched so we weren't off to a great start, I should have just sent it back, for the money it should have been perfect. You can see how it showed up in the attached picture. Second, it only functions in portrait mode. While the video shows it working in landscape, in reality as soon as you rotate it and hit a bump of any kind, it drops right out. If you only need portrait it'll be fine I guess.

Fits perfectly in a 2017 Mini Cooper Clubman. So I'm told. The recipient of the gift didn't even have to use the adhesive tape. Fits perfectly snug without it.

Overall - ok product. The phone's housing allows a very thin phone with thin case. Had my case been any thicker, it would not have worked. As it is, if you bump it too much, it will fall out. There is no way to adjust how the phone sits in the holder, so depending on your button placement, it might be an issue. The holder fits perfectly into the Mini dashboard. Probably won’t return it but I won’t buy it again.

This is an excellent choice for mini Cooper owners who don't want to pay out the nose for the official mini Cooper version. It works very well with a variety of phones and phone cases it is made out of metal so it is fairly durable it is spring loaded and I haven't noticed any major wear and tear after several months of use.

This looked like the perfect mobile phone holder for my daughter's Mini Cooper F56 and the build quality looked great however it was small for the hole that it supposed to fit so stuck it in the hole with the supplied tape however it fell off as soon as I put my phone into the holder!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT great so returned it and asked for my money back!!!!!! I wouldn't buy it for Mini Cooper F56 even though it say's it's been designed for it!!!!!!!!!!!

The phone does obscure the top of the info screen - I don't use it if using Mini navigation.

It’s actually has some weight to it because it’s metal and it’s an extremely well-made product. It’s not in the way of anything and fits perfectly and very securely too. It’s not a big plastic eye sore that looks like a robotic arm like most others, this one is very classy with its greyscale Union Jack design and it actually compliments the Mini aesthetic. Most importantly, your phone isn’t gong anywhere. I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max and it fits very well. My car does have integrated wireless charging in the arm rest, however its not big enough to accommodate the size of the pro max phone, and because it’s in the armrest, you cannot see the phone screen if you’re using a navigation app on your phone. I have tried DOZENS of different types of phone holders and wasted hundreds of dollars! My phone would always end up on the floor of my car somewhere, holder and all and that can be extremely dangerous if it falls down by the gas and brake pedals. I didn’t add a photo because it does look EXACTLY the same as the photos that are in the listing. Stop your search and grab this one, you’ll be happy you did.

Gets in the way of the central screen, and rotating the holder horizontally means the phone is likely to fall out. If you can live with it obscuring the screen, it holds very well vertically. Fits the hole pretty well to mount, though a spacer may be required depending on what in car screen you have. I have 2 Mini's each with one of these- one has a large navigation screen, the other a 4 line orange TFT. Both fit, but the smaller display does need some tape as a spacer. Both are F56 mini 3 door models, FWIW.

This is probably as good as it gets for a Mini phone holder. Fits in that empty slot easily and seamlessly and seems to hold there pretty solidly. My phone (12 pro max) slides in and sits well, you just have to make sure the screw lock on the back of the holder is tight, as larger phones might be a bit too heavy. Extra bonus is that even without any phone in it, it looks pretty sharp. On the negative side it does not work in landscape mode at all. The phone will just fall right out. This means that the phone will always block part of the big screen when it’s in use. No big deal really except for when using the backup camera. We shall see how it holds up on bumpy roads, but so far I’m impressed.
