Theory of Aerospace Propulsion (Aerospace Engineering) 1st Edition

The theory is not explained very extensively and it does not contain all formulas needed for the problems at the end of each chapter. I am used to work with Cengel's suite of textbooks with great summaries at the end of each chapter with important formulas and points. This textbook is nowhere close to Cengel's textbooks level!!

This book is poorly written, full of errors, and has forced my teacher to teach from his own notes instead

And so am I. We have progressed through three chapters of this book so far in my class and have discovered six WRONG EQUATIONS. Did this book even get edited before it was printed? My complaints will soon go directly to the publisher, but I wanted to warn everyone on Amazon that if in the future this is a required textbook for a class, go download it online and save your money because after the class is over it will be completely useless. Seriously though, wrong equations? In a technical textbook? It is completely unacceptable.tl;dr THIS BOOK ISN'T WORTH THE PAPER IT'S PRINTED ON.

It's ridiculous. Truly Ridiculous.Most of them are small errors in the equations(i.e. the fractional exponent in isentropic relations are flipped),but these can have a huge impact on results.On the optimistic side,You will learn the material really (really) well when you have toderive every equation in the book yourself to make sureit's written down right... (so +1 star, for making me be less lazy than I want to be)
