The metal tab often does not get triggered but the plastic tab triggers more effectively.I have found that putting the traps in a small box with one open side helps cleanup. Great traps (bit of a hair trigger but great results). Had success with the original old school traps but the peanut butter's been eaten off them consistently for the last week or so, lined up 2 of these Victory bad boys and immediate success, both triggered while I was at work this arvo.
