Engineering mistake
I was replacing a 2006 GE RO Filter with this PUR RO Filter.The filter wrench for the RO filter is a complete circle. There are 2 hoses coming out of the filter housing and 1 hose coming out of the filter cap. So, in order to use the filter wrench, you have to disconnect one or 2 for the hoses to put the wrench on filter. Then you can leave the wrench on the filter for the next use.My initial PUR filter was defective because the unit leaked at the filter cap hose. They don’t have replacement parts. So, I had to order a whole new unit.My old GE filter had a “C” shaped wrench that worked just fine.
