Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Glass Baby Bottle, 5oz/150ml, Clear

I had heard about glass bottles, but seeing and trying them completely convinced me, from cute to easy to wash, I love it.

Great quality glass bottles for starters. These bottles have been through it. From some of the bottles hitting cement flooring, dropping them onto hardwood flooring, even one slipping out of my hand and slamming into the ceramic sink while cleaning - yet none have ever broke or even chipped! My son drinks out of these frequently and has never had a problem with them. Easy to clean and very durable. 10/10 recommend.

I do not know why I was so skeptical of using glass bottles. I think maybe I thought they'd be too heavy? These are not. These are perfectly light weight, yet durable design. No leaks. They heat up quicker than plastic and silicone, without any fat loss due to sticking/film which happens mostly on plastic, somewhat on silicone. Most nutrients are in the fat, so losing that layer of fat means losing some of the best part of milk. And our mama milk is NOT as fatty as you think... every bit counts. Even with that big looking layer after it settles. Its not as much as you think!!!! These solve that entire concern. No nutrient loss, more rounded heating so also less nutrient loss during heating process. They heat up SO quick, severely reducing fuss time waiting for a bottle. 10/10 I will never bother with my other bottles again unless one of these busts (bound to happen to at least ONE! Theyre glass afterall.... ) Also I love that they come with both the grippy lid and the cup adapter lid... not sure why since the nipple can go in either. But its kinda neat? Maybe just a way to up the price point? These do 100% fit the NUK natural nipples, the opaque silicone ones that mimic the nipple. And those nipples are ngl far better than tommee tippee. The tt nipples bend around, my littles have a hard time trying to hold the bottle with those. And then they get spillage and spit up. With the nuk nipples, all issues gone. So I really love these bottles and that they fit the world's best bottle nipple!

Great for bottle/breastfeed combo babies

This bottle Kit is a great value for parents! The bottles feel sturdy and durable while still being surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle. I also love that the kit includes different bottle sizes and nipple flow rates, making it simple to transition as your baby’s feeding needs change and they drink faster. The newborn pacifier and bottle brush are thoughtful additions that add even more value and convenience to the set. Overall, a practical, well-designed starter kit for growing babies.

Overall, the bottles are good. However, I find that pretty much every other bottle will start to leak. You have to unscrew the lid and then screw it back on super super tight and in the exact right position to get it to not leak. It’s kind of annoying. I’ve bought three packs, so I have nine bottles total and all of them seem to have this issue.

Dropped several times and they have never cracked! Obviously heavier than plastic, but baby can hold them on her own with no problem. I love that they come with a sealing cap so I can use them as jars! I will continue getting use out of them for years to come for that reason. I swap the nipple for the Nuk Perfect Match, and it’s worked great.

I love this bottle

Lo adoro, semplicemente rimpiango di non averlo comprato per la mia prima figlia. Premetto che dopo due figli mi sento abbastanza preparata a trattare un argomento come i biberon e il corredo nascita quindi mi sento sicura nel dire che questo biberon vi aiuterà tantissimo. Partiamo con l’analisi del prodotto. Il vetro è medio resistente, l’ho confrontato con l’avent Della Philips e sn praticamente identici ma cambia la forma del biberon (questo ha la base più grossa). Gli ml corrispondono alla realtà: odio notare cm alcune note marche sbaglino su una cosa importante come la misura dei liquidi. Si lava abbastanza velocemente e facilmente: riesco a strofinare l’interno con una classica spugnetta per i piatti e tutto brilla che è un piacere. Può essere riposto dentro la lavastoviglie ma non posso giudicare perche preferisco un lavaggio manuale e tenere sotto controllo macchie e odori strani. Il silicone è ben resistente, il bimbo si attacca senza fatica e ha apprezzato da subito. La valvola anti colica è ben visibile: quando darete il latte ai vostri bimbi fate in modo di trovarvi la valvolina in basso in prossimità del Mento così quando il neonato ciuccia le bolle cadranno in basso verso il latte e grazie alle bolle che si creeranno nel latte voi avrete sotto controllo la situazione. Per ultimo (diciamo l’analisi più importante) il risultato finale sulle coliche: ovviamente considerazioni personali e risultato sul mio bimbo. L’80 per cento delle coliche di mio figlio è causato non tanto dal latte ma dalla sua suzione vorace e nervosa. Più lui ciuccia velocemente più aria rischia di ingurgitare. Non dobbiamo e possiamo pretendere che nessun biberon di nessuna marca anche se famosa (le ho provate tutte italiane e straniere) risolvano il problema delle coliche perché è impossibile. Possono diminuirle di molto ma non totalmente e definitivamente. A detta di molti esperti le coliche dipendono anche da una reazione emotiva di tensione e ansie quindi i miracoli non accompagneranno questo biberon ma vi posso assicurare che questo prodotto limiterà tantissimo l’ingestione dell’aria con la suzione. Ve lo consiglio

Glass bottles are so easy to clean and the manage. No fear of it breaking. Thick and fit for purpose. Very durable. Have since repurchased.

Il kit è composto come da immagine (2 biberon da 250ml, 1 biberon da 150ml, due tettarelle di ricambio, un ciuccio, uno spazzolino lava biberon). Avevo già acquistato un biberon in vetro da 150ml e mi sono trovata benissimo: il vetro è molto più igienico da pulire e il mio bambino si trova benissimo con le tettarelle, adatte al l’allattamento misto.

I love these. I was looking for glass baby bottles which are surprisingly hard to find at a reasonable price point. I like that these can be used both as bottles or as storage containers - I usually keep pumped milk in them with the container lid in the fridge and then just swap the lid to the bottle top when I’m ready to feed baby. I replaced the bottle nipple with the Nuk style and it is compatible.

I’m so glad I got these for my baby. Super easy to wash and warm the milk in.
