This tablet holder surpassed my expectations. The aluminum construction makes it very stable. I would definitely recommend it.

The media could not be loaded.  This tripod mount is GREAT! I use it to hold my iPad Pro 12.9 in. for looking at reference images when I'm painting and for shooting video with the iPad or my phone. (Yes, it works for my phone as well.) My particular tripod has a removable base plate that easily screws into the bottom of the of the tripod mount and then clips securely onto the ball head on the tripod (see video). The whole set up is very solid and I can rotate the iPad or phone to any angle needed without worrying that my expensive electronics are going to come off and crash to the ground. I love that the mount is metal and not cheap plastic. Highly recommend!

Let me start out by saying that I have bought several different tablet tripod mounts. I currently have the iPad pro 12.9 with 2tb and cellular, so I’m not going to take any chances with it. I bought the case that has a slot on the side to attach the apple pencil and has enough rubber around the sides to protect against a low drop.Now this creates an issue when trying to find a tablet tripod mount. I personally don’t know of anyone who is going to set up their $2K iPad on a tripod without having a decent case on it, and if I find them I have some land I would like to sell them!So let me say that this mount does not work for me. In fact if you have a case other than one of them very slim ones or not using a case at all then this will not work for you either with the iPad 12.9.I do like the fact that there are many different ways you can connect it. There are 3 holes on the back that fit the standard ¼” camera mount. On the bottom there is another ¼” hole that also fits the camera mount. Then there is also another hole on the bottom that fits the 3/8” that allot of tripods use.It is made out of mettle and the arms and back of the mount that come in contact with the tablet are very heavy rubber coated.The one major thing that I do not like about this other than the fact it don’t work for me is there is no way of locking the extendable arm in place. It is spring loaded but with such a heavy tablet attached I would be afraid that it could pop out if bumped. If there were a hand twist screw that would hold that arm in place then I would trust it.Bottom line:Does it work for the iPad pro 12.9? Yes but only with a very slim case or no case at all.Would I personally use it without a case? Not at all. I don’t have enough confidence in a spring to hold my iPad from popping out.Would this work with a smaller lighter weight tablet? Yes but once again my trust in a spring alone just isn’t there.

I have been creating videos for a long time, I use my phone, my camera, my iPad, any thing that I can put my hand on and it's convenient, this piece goes in my camera back and it's way better than what I had before

I got this to mount a 15" portable monitor to my Joby tripod and it works perfectly. The thing grabs on the monitor pretty stable and has many mounting hole options so it's very flexible. The whole thing feel really well built and therefore would defn work for a tablet that is smaller in size.

I tattoo for a living and always have my iPad up to reference my drawing. I’ve gone through a bunch of similar attachments such as this but they would always eventually bust bc they were made of cheap plastic. This is so much better! Bonus points for it being spring loaded!

Very useful. It’s great for an iPad pro but i like using it with my iPhone Pro Max becasue i can mount it vertically and still attach a light at the top right above the facetime camera. Best angle, as opposed to smaller phone mounts where you can only have your light on the side.

This works well and holds my iPad firmly, even in a very strong wind. It extends on its stem and then extends further by pulling a strong spring. My iPad (in its cover) is 254mm greatest dimension and fits comfortably. The clamping lugs are deep enough to accommodate iPad+ cover,.
