since i watched the anime and the ova first , still i have to say that even the manga gets you hooked for its mind blowing action , mature dialogues , amazing characters & a crazy settings .this basically the the last parts of season 2 and the beginning of the Roberta's blood trail story if you were like me following the anime 1st .and its just as good , reading this was so exciting i got hooked on it till i finished it , now that i got the whole volumes from 1 - 10 i cant wait for a new volume .this series is really outstanding in both manga in anime form .

This volume is the moment I've been waiting for! The point where the plot goes past where the first two seasons of the anime ended! Don't get me wrong I loved reading in manga form the same stories I saw in the anime. But now that it's plot that's new to me I'm much more involved and hungry for the next volume! ESPECIALLY since this volume brings back one of the best characters, Roberta!

I liked the anime series and thought I would read the manga to see if they where any differences, The manga is true to the anime version and if you enjoy the manga you should try the anime series. Be warned it is rated MA for a reason.

I am a big fan of the anime as well, and after hearing about the author returning from his hiatus I can't wait for volume 10!

This entire series is just nonstop badassery. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good, high octane read

"Greenback Jane" is an action junkies wet dream and is also the debut of everyone's favorite chainsaw wielding psycho-goth, Sawyer. When a counterfeiter is on the run from some disgruntled clients and seeks shelter at the Rip-off Church, she finds herself tossed out of the frying pan and into the fire as she and her pursuers learn the true nature of Roanapur the hard way! This short arc is a lot of fun and probably the one that I'd use to introduce the series to someone new as it's sure to entertain just about everybody.In contrast, "El Baile de la Muerte" (aka The Dance of Death) is an epic story arc starting in this volume and continuing right through to the end of volume 9. Roanapur is turned upside down when the "Bloodhound", Roberta, returns to the city in search of revenge. Rock and Mr Chang engage in a deadly gamble that will decide the fate of Roanapur, while Revy prepares for her long anticipated rematch with the killer maid.

More action and a new story arc kicks off in this volume . Characters are great as ever and with the return of roberta makes this a great purchase
