Not much to say about hay, but here goes: Positives: smells fresh with no musty or stale odors. Nice and dry with good crunch as our rabbits eat it. They also seem to really enjoy the taste. Negatives: too many fines mixed in with the actual hay, like ground up leaves and small bits. The rabbits don’t eat those parts and it seems like waste filler. Price is fair for a high quality hay.

I’ve been using Oxbow for years and they are one of the most trustworthy and quality hay brands for my buns. I now foster rabbits. The first litter I raised grew up on oxbow. Mama just had her last litter (she came to me with one litter born and apparently another on the way) and they will also grow up on Oxbow. I’ve never had an issue with freshness. The hay comes in genuinely dry and dust free with perfectly long strands. I have a spare 13g trashcan with a lid. I just drop a big 90oz bag in there to keep the pets out of the main supply. Smaller bags are closed away too. My rabbits love it so much they prefer to eat straight out of the bag instead of the open boxes or hay feeders I use. Worth the extra few dollars and can usually be found at local farm stores or pet stores in bulk if I can’t get it shipped fast enough.

My bunny’s getting older and has some mild dental issues (nothing serious per the vet), so I’ve been experimenting with different hays to keep him eating and chewing. We started with timothy hay, then switched to orchid grass hay, and recently I added this Oxbow Organic Meadow Hay to give him more variety. It’s not the softest hay — definitely a bit coarser — but it smells fresh and looks clean. He doesn’t go crazy for it, but he does eat it, especially when I mix it in with his usual hay. For a picky senior bun, that’s a win. I like that it’s organic, high in fiber, and supports both digestion and dental health. It’s also a nice lower-calcium option, which is good for adult rabbits. Not the hay of his dreams, but a solid backup that keeps things interesting and healthy.

My guinea pigs like this and ate it but prefer something a little more green and soft like 3rd cutting Timothy.

My rabbit loves this hay! It comes well packaged, with a fresh, natural smell. The strands are long, green and crisp, just as they should be. It does not bring excessive dust or dry or brown parts. Since I use it, I have noticed that my rabbit eats more enthusiastically and has better digestion. I will continue to buy it without a doubt!

I bought this hay for the first time recently and my guinea pigs seem to like it. They are very fussy about what hay they will eat and had previously ignored every single other type that Oxbow make, plus several other brands, but they enjoy munching on this. It's nice & green (as good quality grass hay should be) with a pleasant smell and even though the bag is small it lasts a long time as the hay is very compressed inside. The resealable fastening at the top of the bag is a bit hard to close when it's first opened because they cram so much in, but as it gets less full it's really easy. I would recommend it :-)

Llego todo podrido y aguado. Apenas lo abri toda la habitación se llenó de polvo gris. Cuesta el doble que el que te venden en Petco y no vale ni la décima parte. Compren cualquier otra cosa y aléjense de esta estafa.

Les produits Oxbow on les à tous pour nos chinchillas mais ils sont assez difficile,les produits sont de.une très bonne qualité...

同ブランドの牧草を色々試してみましたが、中でも群を抜いてこちらを食べていたので定期便にしています。 届くものによってまちまちですが、たいてい細めで薄い葉が多く、茎部分は少なめな印象です。 以前は牧草はこちらのみあげていましたが、硬いものも食べた方が歯には良いのかなと考え、ジェックスのプレミアムチモシーも一緒に与えるようになりました。 牧草のみだとうんちが小さめになるので（食べてはいますが）、チモシーのきわみを補助牧草のような感じで少量与えています。
