This sconce is nice and soft, yet bright. It senses ambient light and tells the unit when to turn on and off..The lights turn up slowly as the sun sets and dim to off slowly in the morning. It comes on automatically when it senses movement and you can see when walking up the stairs. It is excellent choice for a quick and easy way to automatically light your way.
