Women's Expedition Metal Field Mini 26mm Watch

I didn't take a star off like I almost did, because the watch itself is really good. Unfortunately, they sold me a used or returned watch and called it new. The main issue with that is when it's actually new, you need to remove a plastic tab to make battery start up. They do that because it extends battery life. This watch was next to the plastic holder in the box, not on it, rattling around the box with watch already running. So I'll need a battery much sooner, and I hope it's not damaged from the watch being loose in its box. I might keep it, or I might get my money back and buy it directly from timex website instead of Amazon. Amazon's price is way better, but then, it's not really new, so 🤮. I hope whoever had it first wasn't dirty or otherwise gross. The watch itself is nice. I was afraid it would look huge and manly, but it's not at all that way. Mine has dark brown leather and the black fabric strip in middle of strap part. The face is just big enough to read really easily. It definitely doesn't look manly at all. I love how it looks. The strap is nice, but in warm weather, my wrists and hands have a tendency to swell in heat, so I have to adjust the fit more often. Not a deal breaker, of course. But it's very comfy. I can wear it all the time (will take off to shower or swim), including wearing it to bed. I take meds, sometimes over night. I need to know the time, so I stay on schedule, and I don't want to turn on a bright light. The indiglo (I think that's the name) is great. Just enough light to see what I need to, clearly, but not blindingly bright. I also like how durable it's supposed to be. From now on, I'm sticking with timex for the durability, quality, and features. I'm replacing a very basic, cheapo casio. It was fine. Probably would have kept, but it didn't light up at all, and I discovered that was a very important feature for me. So, I wish they would give buyers the choice to buy used if wanted, and save brand new, not-worn or used, items for those who want and pay for new. TL/DR: was used or returned and had battery already running. A really nice watch with good features. Easy to read, and the light up feature is awesome. Great watch overall. If ordering it, you might want to let them know, if it's important to you, you don't want it to be used. Other than that one issue I love the watch and recommend it

I've had this watch a few months and really like it. It is very comfortable to wear and appears to have a solid build, not flimsy and cheap like some other watches at this price point. I wanted something for everyday wear that looked nice for work and casual but wasn't expensive so if it was damaged, it wasn't a big deal. The face is easy to read and is about the size of a quarter. The Indiglo feature works well and is very bright and easy to read in the dark. The watch hands are also luminous. It does NOT have a date feature but honestly, I didn't want it. Its not loud - you can hear the watch ticking only if you put it near your ear. I normally have metal watch bands so I wasn't sure I would like the leather and fabric band on this watch but I do - it is very comfortable. I have 6.5" wrists and there is room to adjust the band smaller or larger and the extra band fits in a second loop which can be moved but stays put once you adjust. I haven't really tested the water resistance other than a few splashes and briefly submerging it once. Overall, I'm very happy with this watch and would buy it again.

This is a great watch. The leather band is very comfortable, it's easy to read with a second hand, it keeps reliable time, it's not huge, it lights up well, and I like the outdoorsy style. It's really hard to find a not expensive watch with such a high quality band, so this watch's very soft and comfy band is a real find. The dial face doesn't look cheap, either. It's held up well even when I've been banging it around in vigorous outside activity. Better than some other Timex watches I've owned over the years, definitely. They were less sturdy or the bands fell apart quickly.

Super cute. I liked it a lot but I have very small wrists and the strap was too long and too stiff to be comfortable. Because of the style of the band it's not an option to trim it shorter. Unfortunately I have to return it.

Wanted a small faced watch, with indigo lights so I would turn on lights to see the time ant night - otherwise our cat thinks it’s feeding time! Awesomely nice!

I had a Timex as my first watch when I was 7 yrs old so when I was shopping I was leaning towards getting one again. For some reason I don't know I wanted a green faced watch. I ride my bike for a lot of my getting around so wanted some kind of water resistance. With the Expedition model I don't have to worry about getting wet at all in fact I can swim with it. That means no worries for me with washing my hands or getting rained on. I like not having to pull my phone out at work to check the time and it's easier to check what time it is when I'm on my bike with my watch. The light up dial is awesome for when it's dark too. I have smaller wrist so a lot of the fashionable big faces are just too much for me and are not comfortable. The strap has plenty of room to go bigger or smaller and I like having a leather strap because of my stupidly super sensitive skin. I wanted a well built time piece with all the pluses this one had with regards to water and being able to see in the dark and being ok with my sensitive skin and found it with this watch. Super happy with my purchase!!

I really like this watch. I have small hands and it fits perfectly on my wrist. The hands glow in the dark provided you have gotten some light to the area and there is the indiglow feature as well which works by pushing the knob on the right side of the watch. I spend a lot of time working outside around horses and it is holding up well. I haven't gotten it wet so I don't know how that will affect it but next time I need a new watch I will definitely buy another one of these.

Il quadrante è molto piccolo, 28 mm di diametro, consiglio di fare una prova con una moneta da 20 cent per farsi un 'idea e non rimanere disorientati se siete abituati a quadranti più "normali". Di conseguenza anche il cinturino è un laccio emostatico. Spedizione Amazon pessima, arrivato con una settimana di ritardo, per 4 giorni il pacco ha fatto avanti e indietro tra due magazzini e a metà strada c'era l'indirizzo di consegna!!!

I was looking for a watch to take on a riding safari. This watch seems to be exactly what I was hoping for: -Small enough for a slim female wrist -Green /khaki colouring -Waterproof -Analogue -Luminous hands (plus backlit screen at the touch of a button) -Not so insanely expensive that I’m going to worry about it all holiday I’m going to an area with patchy electricity so realised I would need to leave my usual Apple Watch behind, and go back to a low-fi model for this trip. It needs to be rugged too - and work with a “1923” style vintage safari look! First impressions: Light, easy and comfortable on the wrist. The colours are great. It feels really well made. There are plenty of holes in the wristband. I also appreciate having the two leather keepers - if you have a slim wrist, you don’t need to have the loose end flapping around, which can be so annoying otherwise. The backlight is very easy to use - just push on the side button and the screen lights up for as long as you keep pressing. Impressively thoughtful design for something so small. It’s like they read my mind! It was slightly more expensive than I had hoped for, but I’ve ended up with something much nicer than planned. Mainly, I’m just relieved to have found a decent, practical watch which is up to the job I need it for, and noter stylish too. Too many ladies’ watches are just - way too girly. And the military-style men’s ones are all too big for me. Whereas this little watch is: pretty much perfect! Thank you, Timex!
