Will the neutral shoe polish affect (darken, lighten, or discolor) the color of a pair of tan shoes (Aldo Mehmet) or any other leather shoe?

It can darken particularly light shoes, so test a patch on the instep side of the shoe where it won't be noticed when you where them.

Will this work on navy blue leather shoes?

I don't know. I did not buy the neutral - I bought "Navy" colored polish. That worked great on my Navy shoes.

No, we wanted the color cordovan.

This polish has been clear for me on my boots and dock shoes. I use it to protect them from the elements not create a spit shine. enjoy.
