LOVE IT! Got a note from Amazon that this kit was almost half off, so jumped on it despite a ginormous to-do pile of projects! Directions are great, easy to follow, pretty quick to work up, but added a few things for stability. Value is in the patterns, and there are 12 patterns. Materials are included for Jack and Sally (including the hook), but I used some of the yarn and stuffing for Shock. I used some of my stash yarn for the mask, dress and hat. Hoping to finish Lock, Barrel, Oogie and the Mayor before Halloween. Think beginners will be okay with these patterns. A lot of pictures provided to help out. The stuffing is amazing - wish I had more of that. Super soft and manageable.

Instructions were easy to follow, very cute kit. Everything for Jack and Sally was included and turned out wonderfully. The other characters patterns were easy to understand and follow as well. For the others you will need to have the yarn necessary, wire thread, and pipe cleaners (chenille stems) and stuffing of course, to complete them. Enjoyed this kit, they worked well for finished gifts, decorations, and my little one also plays with the finished characters, smiles and fun. Happy with this purchase, all the way around!

I love this kit! I absolutely love The book! It’s definitely not for beginners but I’ve been crocheting for years and it was pretty easy for me to understand. I Definitely recommend having a row counter for actually crocheting the characters. And make sure to pay attention to the row count in the book! I had to frog a bit because I didn’t pay attention lol. The yarn is honestly terrible quality, but the color is nice. (I ended up replacing some of the yarn with Lily’s sugar N’ Cream cotton yarn which was a little heavier/thicker weight yarn than the one provided). It made it very difficult to frog back because the fibers just kept getting all stuck together. As I was crocheting with it, It was rubbing my pointer finger raw, almost causing like rug burn 😂😭

Loved the pattern book & Jack & Sally are cute! I did not like the yarn that comes with this kit. It is horrible in that it splits & frays easily, especially if you need to undo a mistake in some pieces. I used my own yarn of cotton blend-worked great!

I love this kit. Most kits come with enough yarn and eyes to make one to two characters but they rarely come with things like wire. I was very surprised that good quality thick wire was included.

The instructions are easy to follow. Finishing the project it’s very satisfying

A beautiful set which was purchased as a gift - the recipient LOVED it and the finished products (so far) are brilliant detail and quality. Some parts are a bit fiddly and difficult so definitely only for a more proficient crafter. Well worth the money.

Primero que nada, una cosa importante antes de adquirir el kit es que el libro está en inglés. Por lo que debes, al menos, estar familiarizado con los términos. El kit está muy completo: viene con los hilos, gancho, relleno, hilo para bordar, aguja, limpia pipas y trozos de fieltro para poder realizar a Sally y Jack. El único detalle en cuanto a los materiales es que el hilo para tejer es como tipo estambre, y es muy fácil que se deshilache. Solo hay que tejer con precaución (evitar deshacer lo que ya está tejido) para que el hilo no se dañe. Los patrones son excelentes. Todos los personajes están muy bien diseñados. El libro es pequeño, más o menos como el tamaño de una libreta francesa, por lo que es fácil de guardar.
