Our new Jeep has no good place to put a phone. It's pretty annoying! This mount takes up very little space and the magnet is strong. It comes with the cover, but also with 2 adhesive discs that you can put on the back of your phone if you want to use your own cover. As long as your cover is flat, they work great. If your cover is sculpted (like some Otterboxes) it won't work. Mine is flat, so the discs are great. My husband wasn't so lucky.The only trouble we had was that the adhesive that came with the set was not sticking to the plastic trim in our vehicle. We got some heavy-duty 3M tape and used that instead. Overall, it solves the problem. I don't have to worry about any of my vent pieces breaking or blocking the air like some others I have had in the past. I would recommend this.

Great mount, holds the phone securely and without wobble. Nothing at all wrong with the product, I would recommend adding a glass protector though since the case doesnt wrap all the way around or protect the front. Also, i got a new vehicle and there was just no spot where i could use this mount and get the benefit of its great rotation, If you mount it on top of the dash, its not tall enough to allow a 6+ to sit in portrait mode, and barley in landscape mode. If you need to mount on top of the dash, i would look at other products. If you can mount on the flat part of the console, near the radio or vents, it works fantastically.

HANDS DOWN BEST PRODUCT ON THE MARKET. The iPhone 7 case is slim but protects in the areas it needs to. It puts very little thickness onto the phone. The case has a built in magnet. I don't know how they did this as the case is flexible. The magnet inside the case is the strongest on the market and i have gone through about 20 of them. The packaging of this product is exceptional. The quality of the dash mount is superior, hight quality materials. I am amazed that i was able to get such a high quality product for an amazing price. Thanks Sudion, we need more companies like you making quality products.

I ordered this case in silver one for my iPhone 6 and it had more grip than this black one I just got for my 7. I ordered another silver for my 7 in hopes it the same grippy material as my first order. Don't know if the color makes a difference but we'll see.

Sudion makes good products. I have other cases that are great, don't get me wrong. However this model Sudion case is inferior and not worthy of a purchase. It is not, IMO magnetic as advertised, it's mostly a complicated mish-mosh of fabricated items that have sticky tape on them. You are expected to adhesive the various parts in various ways, and then one of the sticky parts at the end, magnetizes to the round bulb you see in the picture. It's not a magnetic case. The phone casing IS NOT METALLIC, and has no magnetic properties. Do not buy this model. Pick another Sudion case that has a metal phone case backing, and don't choose a model that comes with a dash mount. IMO get yourself Mengo(TM) product for the mounting piece.

Nice case, magnet works well.. the 3m tape has the holding ability of a baby trying to bench press 300lbs.Yes, I cleaned the surface, installed at he 'right' temp and let it "set" for over 48 before placing the phone on it. Junk!2 stars because the case and mag work, reset doesn't waste of money

Mount detaches from dash in hot weather.

There is no need for the black back cover, magnet can be used directly as the cover has a hole to insert the magnet roller ball thus not protecting the phone anyway. sturdy magnet.
