Does it fade** A: I have had this for about four months now, placed in direct sunlight for about half the day...it has not faded. It is a hard durable plastic, not painted so the color is infused in the plastic. It is oval shaped, not round and the birds do love it. **Q: What solar fountain did you use with this** A: I used the AISITIN 3.5W Solar Fountain, Solar Powered Fountain with 6 Nozzles ,however it did not work well for the birdbath I purchased. The fountain only sprays when sun directly overhead after a couple of months. I purchased the same birdbath as you. It really isn't as large as it looks, the fountain would not stay in bottom of the bath. When it was spraying it would spray all the water out of the fountain in as little as an hour. I was constantly replacing the water LOL. I ended up getting a different pan for the fountain. I bought the fountain in Aug. of 2022 and it hardly ever works anymore. But when it did it sprayed nicely **Q: Will the paint/plastic break down in the sun and make the birds sick?** A: I have had this birdbath for about a year. I have not seen any wear or tear on the paint. I put fresh water in daily and scrub it every week or so. The birds love it, and I love that it stakes right into the yard. **Q: The Large one, is there a bump in middle? If not, why not?** A: No bump in the middle…I’ve added a brick in the middle for the birds, which also helps with stability (as it’s kind of tippy.). Being held up by a single pole is not the best design, it doesn’t stay level for very long after filling. I recommend trying a different style… one with 3 or 4 legs for support. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect size for what I was looking for! *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on 25 June 2024* Really easy to put together, the green is a great color on the lawn. It's quite sturdy, the weight is good and it doesn't leak plus it's easy to clean and the birds seem very happy. I definitely will buy this again!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great, perfect size for my garden! *by G***L on Reviewed in Canada on 11 August 2022* This is quite well made. Very easy to assemble and the post is very sturdy. Very happy with my purchase. The size fits well into my garden. Ann ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The birds seem to enjoy it *by R***T on Reviewed in the United States on 14 April 2024* This is not the most attractive looking birdbath in the world. Originally, I thought I'd place this somewhere in my front yard, but I'd describe this as more "utilitarian" or "practical" rather than attractive. I also find the stand a bit flimsy. The bath is so large that it is difficult to get the flimsy stand leveled so the bath itself can be level. It would do better to have a studier, 4-prong stand. I ended up hiding it off to the side near one of my backyard fences and will let the shrubbery cover most of the stand but the bath is still visible. I did notice that the robins love it! The company is very responsive to feedback and I applaud them for that. ## Frequently Bought Together - Garbuildman Extra-Large Freestanding Birdbaths Bowl, Detachable Decoration Spa with Metal Stake Stand & Birdfeeder for Outdoor Garden, Oval Style, Chocolate - Mademax Solar Bird Bath Fountain Pump, Upgrade 1.4W Solar Fountain with 6 Nozzle, Free Standing Floating Solar Powered Water Fountain Pump for Bird Bath, Garden, Pond, Pool, Outdoor - AISITIN 3.5W Solar Fountain Pump for Water Feature Outdoor DIY Solar Bird Bath Fountain with Multiple Nozzles, Solar Powered Water Fountain for Garden, Ponds, Fish Tank and Aquarium --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/376157515-garbuildman-extra-large-freestanding-birdbaths-bowl-detachable-decoration-spa-metal](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/376157515-garbuildman-extra-large-freestanding-birdbaths-bowl-detachable-decoration-spa-metal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
