This drain maintainer is quite easy to use, follow the directions on the bottle and if you use this at least once a week, you'll notice that your drains will flow better. It has a low odor and is not noticeable to most people. It is not a drain opener and I wouldn't recommend it for opening up a completely clogged drain, but once you have it unclogged, just use this once a week and you won't have to plunge or snake your drains.

My jug is green, not yellow as shown. It has a scent, rather like floor cleaner (not lemony.) The cap was rather hard to depress and turn (child-proof.) Sealed well underneath. So I got it open and following directions for drain maintenance, I dumped 8 ounces down my bathroom sink drain followed by a water flush. It worked well. Drain noticeably faster draining. There are very good directions for clog clearing vs drain maintenance, so I'd follow the recommendations, seem to be correct. A large jug of enzyme drain treatment which will remove porteinaceous and fatty clogs from drains. You can maintain your drains by pouring the recommended amount down your drains on a regular basis. Let it sit for about a quarter of an hour after using to allow it to digest any organic material that has accumulated in your drains.

This drain cleaner is mediocre. I followed the directions and tried it multiple times with my bathroom sink and it helped unclog the drain a little bit but I didn’t see a noticeable difference. I like that the ingredients are better for the environment but I also need it to work. Quite honestly, I would not order this again. I give it 3 stars for effort.

I did NOT find this product particularly lemon-y. However, I don't buy cleaning products to huff their odor, so I don't particularly care. It's probably a positive that it doesnt actively smell terrible, like many others. That at least is a positive. I also do not own a restaurant, nor a single solitary grease trap. I do, however, own a house poorly cared for by the previous owner. Thus, the enzyme drain cleaner. I tried it in a sink I knew to drain poorly. It seems like it works well. Subsequently, I also tried it in another sink, the shower, and a toilet. Anecdotal evidence suggests it works well at what it's designed for. I have no complaints. I don't think it will handle hair clogs, which is the majority of my concern, but for everything else biological, it seems to do a decent job.
