Q: what is travel distance on one battery? How much does an additional battery cost?

It came with 2 batteries. How long I dont know since we have not reach that point yet. My mother used the scooter at the mall 4 at least 5 hours and it didn't run out of battery, and it did the spare would take care of it. Hope this help. Wasana

To Karen H. Jones. I used a much bulkier scooter before this one and just rode it to the airplane door. It got stowed and was waiting for me at the door when I deplaned. Sometimes a little bit of a wait. This one might be small enough the stewards can stow it. I haven't flown with it yet.

Not much. About 3 inches from rear wheel axle to ground.
