Solid station that I use everyday but there are several issues
First let me state that this is a really cool station that has articulating arms, a bright-ish LED, and decent magnification. I use it almost daily for my hobbies and projects and I don't regret the purchase, just wish it was a little better. Enough about the good things, let's talk about the areas where it could be better, as that is what makes a good review over the ones that say "it's awesome, buy it". 1.) The LED doesn't shut off when it's turned off, it goes into low brightness mode, like a nightlight, say 20% brightness. I personally like this but note that this doesn't actually shut off. At least my version from 2022 does this. 2.) When in this low mode turned off but still on, it actually flickers completely off and back again to the 20%. This part is annoying and it does this every 15-45 seconds randomly. I have tried different USB power supplies, tried PD and QC and old-school apple ones and it does it no matter what. 3.) I use 120W PD USB power with 2 ports and 1 is connected to this and the other is a 65W soldering iron. When I turn on the soldering iron the light goes off...Most of the time. After both have been on a while and I repeat the process to turn back on the soldering iron the light stays on. It seems to be super sensitive to any power fluxuations but clearly there is way more than enough power to supply the light but it likes to shut off and forces me to turn it back on. 4.) The stand is solid and the arms are solid, but the arms are a bit too solid. They aren't as flexible as needed so it becomes a chore to find the right angle. The arms to NOT rotate so if your part needs to be 90 degrees orientation you have to move the whole arm and fight with it to get it into that position. Most of the time it's easier to use a different arm because you can't get it to hold the piece in the correct position. 5.) The magnifying part is only 3x. I wish it was more, maybe 5x so I have to wear magnifying readers and also the lens on here, but it was the only one with this form factor that I liked and so I have to live with 3x. 6.) The light could be brighter but it's solid. You can never have too much light so over bright LEDs would have been nice so I could turn it down when not needed but as of right now it's full bright and wishing I had more light at time. I have to keep a flashlight near for those times when I need more. Overall you can see I didn't rate it bad because it's not bad, but it's not without its flaws. If it was $10 cheaper I would say buy it and live with the flaws but since it's kind of a price premium piece I am much more critical.

great product, would buy again. one small suggestion to company though.
i love it, i like that it came with two extra alligator clips. it also came with the exact right number of screws which is great. the only problem is that one of the screws had a defect in the first 8 threads.. they were flat on one side. i tried to file them out but that was tedious so i took it to the belt sander and ground the off. that worked great but the problem is those screws go through the rubber feet (which are high qualith and have a little metal plate internally for the screw head to rest against) through the metal base and then connect to the flexible arm that holds the alligator clip. the screw was to short to do that after sanding so i put it directly through the metal platform and flipped the rubber foot upside down so that the screw head would still fit inside and everything would be flush and super glued the foot into place. it is perfectly functional but does bother my ocd a bit.therefore my only suggestion to the company that packages these is it would be smart to include an extra screw since some seem to have defects and they are pretty specific screws. i may be able to find one at home depot but it will probably be like 2 dollars for 4 of them if im lucky. i still gave it five stars because it is a great product and great value but a lot of people would kinda be screwed in that situation or may not want to macgyver it. luckily i care about function more than form. a replacement screw would be cool but not worth it to ship so i will probably leave it as is. this is truly just a suggestion that they throw in an extra screw.

Much easier than fumbling with loose parts
Having these helping hands has made working on small circuit boards and jewelry a lot less frustrating. The base is heavy enough that it doesn't tip over when you have a couple of arms extended and the flexible arms stay exactly where you bend them without springing back. The four clips are strong but they have rubber tips so they don’t chew up the wires or delicate components I am working on. The light and magnifying glass are a huge help for seeing those tiny solder joints that my eyes usually struggle with. The 3X magnification is clear without much distortion and the LED light is bright enough to wash out any shadows on the workbench. It is nice being able to position the light exactly where I need it instead of relying on my overhead room lights which are never quite in the right spot. My only minor complaint is that the arms can feel a little bit crowded if you are trying to use all four of them on a very small project. Sometimes the clips get in each others way if you don't plan out your angles ahead of time. I also wish the magnifying glass arm was just slightly longer to give a bit more reach over the center of the base. Overall this is a solid tool for anyone who does a lot of precision work or hobby repairs. It really does feel like having a third and fourth hand available which makes the whole process faster and way more organized. It feels well built for the price and I am happy with how much it has improved my workspace.

Brilliant Assistance for Wool Appliqué and embroidery
I use these third through sixth hands for wool appliqué and embroidery as the thick fabrics cannot be held securely in a hoop. Brilliant and adjustable light and magnifying glass are a benefit and the padded clips are perfect for holding the fabrics without damaging the finished work. I heartily recommend this exceptional tool to assist with more than just soldering! It is heavy and easily assembled, with teeny instructions I used the magnifying glass to read. Really much better a product than expected and I am quite happy with the ease of assembly and quality of the clips and components. I even received an additional alligator clip - thank you!

Seeing Clearly
If you ever had issues seeing small items and your hobbies are suffering because of it you really need this light. The magnifying glass is awesome because it is lighted. I use the gripping arms all the time. I build models for my hobby and this really helps. I also use it when I need both hands free while I read instructions on things. I love this item well worth the money.

Invaluable for handling small parts.
Very easy to assemble didn't even need the instructions. Nice heavy base plate. The arms articulate sufficiently to hold small circuit boards. Helping hands might be the best invention of the 21st century. Magnifying glass works way better than I expected. Seems like it will hold up well with time.

Pretty good
It's good for learning how use clamps. I think it's better with smaller boards because they have limited movement. Maybe I just need to use it more and get used to it and learn what my preference is idk. Overall it's ok.

Very easy to use
Very to use third hand, flexible, and stiff in good way. Had some problems with magnifying glass, I think it’s not the best quality one, but if you alight it correctly it works great. Can recommend to buy.
