I had a regular down comforter and I did not like how it would bunch up in areas and leave some spots flat. I got this one for the baffle box design. Couldn't be happier. It is great! The comforter fluffed in no time and its so quiet compared to the one I had. Its even from top to bottom. Best purchase I've made in a long time. My bedding is 100% linen from magic linen. Highly recommend this comforter (and sheets) you will be very pleased!!

I don't write a TON of reviews, but felt compelled to review this product. It's vacuum sealed tightly, so it's pretty unimpressive when opening it. I air-fluffed it for about 4 hours and tossed it on my bed, and still it took an hour or so to fluff up, but fluff up it did! I haven't opened it (why would I?), but it looks like it's stuffed very well of feathers. I can see spots where it clumps or is very lightly stuffed when held up to the light, but I mean you're gonna have that with even the most expensive of down material. It's very warm. If you're like me and getting down bedding, you want something warm, but light and breathable. It is all of those things. Is it the lightest comforter, I'm sure not. I really don't have a lot to compare it to besides my down alternative comforter, which is warm but heavy. This thing feels like I'm only sleeping under a top-sheet! It's that light. I feel warm and cozy almost instantly under it, unlike my other down alternative comforter. I like my bedroom cold and try to save electricity, so I turn my heat down to 55 degrees at night. When I wake up during the night for something, I'm very comfortable under this blanket. Sometimes I need to pull out a leg or arm to cool down even, but still, it feels so much more comfortable and breathable compared to my old regular comforter. I was debating getting a Feathered Friends comforter for $500, but am very glad I went with this and saved a ton of money! I see people on here complaining about the quality of the down, giving this a bad review because of that. I really don't know the quality of it, but all I know is it performs like a feather comforter, and I'm warm, not sweating, and loving the feeling of this thing not crushing me when I sleep!

I recently ordered this comforter as a duplicate for the EXACT SAME comforter that I purchased last year. I was very happy with the prior comforter, and I wanted another one like it. However, the comforter I recieved today is not the same one. It was packaged differently, it is not as fluffy (very flat, actually, even after fluffing in a cool dryer), and it is NOISY. The covering is stiff and rattles with even the slightest touch. I am very disappointed in this comforter and I will be returning it. (A MONTH LATER: I am ammending this review to reflect that the seller did contact me regarding the comforter I received, and he stated that perhaps I had received a defective one. He offered to replace it at no charge, and even allowed me to keep the one with which I was dissatisfied. I was appreciative of the offer, and I decided to try again with a new comforter. I received it today, and it is MUCH better in quality than the comforter I reviewed above. It is still not the same as the one I ordered originally (over a year ago), with the biggest difference being that the fabric covering is different--it is not quite as soft. This one also has a boxed edge with double piping, while the original had a knife edge and no piping at all. That being said, this one is still a very nice comforter, and it fluffed up well in the dryer. I am happy with this replacement and I am changing my rating to reflect that. I cannot give it the full five stars due to the fact that although the listing appears exactly as it did one year ago, the comforters received are now different in quality.)
