Under a tenner is great but installation is a fiddle with numerous screws to remove from the rear electrical assembly. I don't think this will last well in the open. Ours is in the front door porch so protected from rain. Proving the thing works is also a fiddle as it won't default to "light on" when first energised. Instead you have to wait until it gets dark for the thing to click on. Maybe difficult if you are getting a sparky to fit it. There are no user adjustable controls for "on" light level and "on" duration which when considering the price isn't a surprise. Spend £20 if you want something that has those adjustments. I'd also look at the ease of fitting angle too. It seems to stay on for about 60 seconds which is fine for my application and it is very cool bright considering the very small power draw.

Very happy with this light for its price. I bought this to replace an old porch light which illuminates as people walk down my driveway. The light was easy to install and fit in place of the old one and is nice and bright when it lights up. There are no controls to adjust the sensitivity or how long the light stays on but the way it’s configured works perfectly for my requirements.

The light is working fine but the delay it's around 1 second which in my case is too much as usually I will hit the switch (habit) before it switch itself on which is frustrating because then it will ligt and switch off straight away as I actually am turning the light off (the light switch supposed to be on all the time for it to work it switches itself off automatically after around 30s when no motion is detected during that time) , so next pir light definitely have to be faster or your switch need to be at least 2 seconds away from you for it to work as it should.

Great light , I bought the lowest wattage unit and it's very Bright.

Nice light but the majority of these type are pre wired with a cord making an easy fit, if it had it would be 4/5 star, but really fiddly having to take out numerous little screws to wire up ,so on that basis I wouldn't recommend

Bought to replace the PIR light we had that was faulty. So impressed with this replacement that we bought more. We have them at the top and bottom of the stairs and they are great as they sensitive to movement. They stay on for enough time to do what you need and use hardly any electricity. Highly recommend. Bit of a faff fixing to the ceiling(as are most light fittings TBF) but anyone with competent DIY skills can install in about 10 minutes if that.

Good quality with an efficient sensor.

We've recently moved into a house which had a "rewire on the cheap" done before we moved in. While most of it is OK, unfortunately, an outside toilet was left with a switch and light which was simply disconnected for safety, and not rewired at all. To avoid having to put in a switch and either channel wires or have trunking along the walls, I added a switched fused spur in the room next door, then a wire through the wall to this light fitting which now comes on automatically when you enter the toilet to use it, and turns off afterwards. It can be a bit 'keen' to turn off, so you just need to occasionally dance a bit while using the facilities, and all is fine. It has a fixed lumen sensor (to avoid it turning on during the day) and fixed turn-off delay (30 seconds). It'd be better if it had a controllable turn-off delay, but it's cheap, so you get what you pay for.
