Expectations I bought this as curiosity for portability and travelling. Maybe one day I need something handy for my travel days when shower or shampooing hair is inaccessible. 1) I thought it was going to be a small thing package that may be easy to load up in my hand luggage and carry a pack of 20-30 for maybe a 2-3 weeks travel for future. However, it is packaged and sized like a big think shower cap soaked with all the shampoo and nutrients needed to clean your hair. So basically, the size is like one of those shower scrub soaked with the shampoo liquid. Not a deal breaker but I guess it’s good enough for me to carry 5 instead of 20-30 on 3-5 day travel. It could be hiking, mountain climbing, etc. 2) It does the job. Though it will feel weird because it’s my first time using it vs the traditional shampoo and water where you can rinse off the excess or dirt. So, yes, it felt naturally weird that I’m massaging it on my head for several minutes and drying it off using dry towel. It does feel, smell and look fresh. But remember, the after-feel and maybe some areas may feel awkward since I’m not used to having something on my hair/head and not rinsing. The best description I can say is, it’s like dying/beaching/shampooing your hair and haven’t fully rinsed it off. Though, it looks completely washed. Maybe, it will take a few times to get used to it. But at least, you’re hearing from someone who using this for first time. 3) I had to put my message upside down since some excess leakage was dripping down. Maybe I didn’t secure it on properly or my put it wrong or the size is bigger than my head. Either way, putting my head down, didn’t bother me. But for those who are unable to bend down and use it, then this is something to be mindful. In other words, use it with a towel around your neck so your shirt doesn’t get wet from any small leaks during the massage process. That’s all. 3) I have a habit of wanting to wash my hair so this time I didn’t. And looks perfectly fine. Looks like it solved the oil control on my hair, which is good. I shampoo and shower every day because oils on my hair is greasier than others. Some may live 3-5 days without shampooing but my hair accumulates so much oil so quickly. 4) Id say it is great value for money. Though, if it was cheaper like £9.99 instead of £13.99 which is around the time of deal and purchase for 6, I’d be super happy. But, sadly these are not cheap or expensive. Just have to use it in moderation. 5) You can’t really use it in public, by that, I mean, it’s something a little messy so toilet/restroom or private room is something to use this for, not something you can openly massage your hair in public seat or area and easily dispose of it. I was expecting a quick fix for greasy hair but it’s unflattering, so yeah not really appropriate in general public-open view. Overall, so far, I’m happy. Since I have sensitive skin and hair, my experience seems to be fine. It hasn’t caused problems for me. So be mindful of what ingredients and see if it works for you or not before using. I think these products are great for people who don’t have access to shower rooms or confined in one space. So, patients in hospital, travellers staying in cheap and shared accommodation with no shower rooms, mountain climbers/hikers/campers who are in the mountain who need a fresh way to start their day washing their hair and sleeping overnight, etc etc. Thanks, interesting product since it is my first time

I am currently a hospital inpatient and my hair was really getting greasy and sweaty. I just wanted something to freshen me up and make me feel human. I'm fortunate I could order to home and hubby could bring one in for me. You could manage on your own; I didn't find it difficult to use - although it did drip and I had to put a towel around my shoulders. It was easier having my husband to assist. Also, I had no microwave, using it warm would have been nicer. My husband also snuck in my hairdryer. I was so impressed with the results - it has a nice fresh smell, not overpowering, and my hair looked clean and shiny. Well done to the genius who invented this.

Purchased these for an upcoming camping trip where there is no wash facilities available. I tried one at home to see what it would be like, and wow! I wasn't disappointed. I currently have shoulder length hair, dyed aubergine, and it needs washed every other day as it gets greasy quite quickly unfortunately. Prior to trying out the wash cap, my hair also had a build up of dry shampoo and hairspray, so I'd be curious to see how the cap fares.... The test ------ Tore the packet open to find a very stuffed and soaking wet cap inside - I mean, dripping! BTW I'm just using it cold (you can microwave it prior), and popped it on my head, making sure all my hair is tucked inside. Maggased thoroughly for 5 minutes and let it rest for another minute. It was soaking! Removed the cap and my hair looked freshly washed and smelled lovely. From here you can towel dry it, or use a hair dryer and style accordingly. On this occasion I used my hair dryer and once done, my hair looked light and fresh, and as good as new. Soft to the touch, the cap removed the oil and other products that were in my hair before👍 However, the nature of the shampoo cap and how it works means that it will leave a slight residue, but it gives volume to my hair and leaves it feeling soft and fresh. Overall, I'm happy with the cap and it's a handy in-between when a proper shower isn't available when I'm away camping. Just *know its limitations*, it will never replace a proper shower/ wash, but as a temporary measure when away, it's brilliant.

These rinse free hair shampoo caps are brilliant leave your hair & scalp feeling refreshed & clean. I frequently attend hospital due to health issues & I had a nurse use one of these on my hair.. I was genuinely surprised at how well they worked.. pop them in the microwave for the amount on the package & ensure it’s not too hot for the person/patient.. Massage the scalp & rub the hair in the mask, leave it on for a min & then rub again.. Hair & scalp feels clean & refreshed.. it is wet so needs towel drying or if available hairdryer.. But fantastic when you can’t get out of bed or in hospital.. I liked it that much I purchased these for future use.. My Mom recently had surgery & I used one for my Mom a couple of days after her operation.. She thought they were ideal & she’s also got some for her hospital bag.. These smell amazing & do exactly as they say.

Great item for bed bound people, my mum loves these leaves her hair feeling refreshed. Can use cold or warm in microwave

I like the idea of these while I am bedbound awaiting hip surgery. I hate not being able to get in the shower! My head itches and hair feels dirty. I used all 5, but it was confusing which way out to put it on. Both sides were wet and soapy. First put it on the way it comes out of pack. Outside felt soapy so took cap off and turned the other way round. Would have thought the outer side would feel dry. Ended up with a drippy head all over face and shoulders. Had a towel handy but still got suds everywhere! The end result was ok when hair dried, but a proper lather palaver! Will order different brand now they’ve run out- literally!

I was pretty skeptical using these to be honest and wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I have long hair so it was tricky getting it all tucked under the cap but once it was all in there it didn't take long to rub it all in, I didnt need to do it for anywhere near 5 mins. Aside from the few drips on my forhead when I stretched the elastic out putting it on my head it didn't drip any further and I didn't get wet. When I took it off my hair looked like I had towel dried after the shower it was nicely wet and it smelled really nice. My hair was a bit more tangled than usual l from the rubbing but came out fine. It took a lot longer to dry my hair with the hair dryer than it usually does and I had to stop a few times and brush it through. When your hair is hot it feels ever so slightly sticky like you have a product in it but once you are done and you brush it through the sticky feeling goes away it just feels.like you have some mouse in your hair or.something like that. My hair looks shiny and clean, smells nice and randomly enough had loads of volume! Is it as good as a fresh shower wash and condition, no - but it's very close and I will definitely be buying more of these.

Wish I had known about these years ago for camping holidays. So easy to use, nice smell, dries quickly after use. Use once a week for my bed bound mum. She lives them. Leave her feeling refreshed and clean.
