will it slide on carpet?

Our 2016 to 2018 model black exercise pad was made of foam and did not slide on carpet. Good News, neither does our new SmithShaper® Super Pad (this listing - introduced in 2019). The SmithShaper® Super Pad is hands down our top-of-the line exercise pad. It is larger (14" x 11" x 1") and far more comfortable than the prior model black pad which was rigid and constructed of IXPE form. The SMITHSHAPER® Super Pad on the other hand, is constructed of Nitrile Rubber(NBR) at 90% density so it's pretty much the best kneeling pad your going to find as it's 25mm thick (one-inch thick) and protective while also being flexible yet far more durable than the previous model. NBR is known for its shock absorbent and anti-fatigue properties and these qualities are readily noticeable as soon as you pick up a Super Pad which is almost three times as heavy but still only 12 onces. Although not as popular as our Squat Mat which is also constructed of NBR, the Super Pad is definitely the best pad for knee and elbow protection. I encourage readers to pay attention to reviews from 2019 and onward as prior reviews and photos were concerning the older model which was smaller and less flexible. The Super Pad is also superior to our Gray Pad which is made out of foam and just sold out today.

Is it soft like mat or like yoga block?

Could this be used under lower back to provide support for yoga for example knee to heart poses?

I use this for my knees. example ,when using a ab roller wheel this works great. If you are a small person and really good with the poses then you can but be careful because this pad is small. This is the best answer I can give.
