Brilliant buy, poaches eggs perfectly. Even better, I can use it on my induction hob. Poaching cups will take large eggs as they are deep, and the little handles so useful. The small spatula is not really needed, if you remember to grease the cups.

Great little poacher. Butter the little poaching pot, medium egg, 4 minutes over 1cm of water on a rolling simmer. Perfect white with dippy yolk.

The end result is just what I wanted, previous poachers left the bottom of the white VERY runny. I use very large eggs for approx. 5 mins. The white holds its shape and the yolk trickles out when cut into. The handy spatula does a great job of removing them cleanly and the cups and metal cup rings will go in the dishwasher. That was the good news. The stainless steel (???) pan and insert holder are of very poor quality metal, blemishes appeared after first use, and it was hand washed. The pan handle gets extremely hot, so avoid touching whilst in use. Both the lid knob and the cup ring holders also get very hot necessitating the use of a tea towel or kitchen paper towel for holding/lifting. My Personal opinion is that it is overpriced because of the quality of the product. BUT I’m happy all the way to the meal table and the Chinese are happy all the way to the Bank. NINE MONTHS LATER the insert has badly distorted and rattles when the water is boiling. More steam escapes between lid and pan than it does through the vent. I have to press down on the lid handle for last couple of minutes to get the top of the eggs to set. Unfortunately all poachers look to be made of same Chinese cr@p so will just have to put up with it.

Been looking for simple two egg poacher that works on an induction hob for ages. Found this & it’s brilliant. Works every time for me.

We had an old 4 egg poacher that had been used for many years, but was definitely a little on the knackered side. I decided it was time for a replacement and dropped it in the bin. After spending more time looking than you'd expect, I chose this item and have to say I am very happy with it! The pan itself is well made, looks good, and is pretty solid - I expect it to last a long time. The plate is a little thinner, but still great quality. The egg... Holders?... are also well put together, each one being a Teflon cup fitted inside a removable metal piece with a hoop for lifting out of the pan, making it easy to remove the eggs when cooked. Being able to separate these parts also makes cleaning much easier! The glass lid fits well and is as good quality as the rest. It's great that there are 6 receptacles, as since buying this the kids have decided they love poached eggs too! We've been enjoying them way more often than normal so cooking half a dozen at a time has been very handy. The spatula provided hasn't seen much use as it felt slightly bigger than ideal for scooping the eggs out... But maybe that's just my clumsy technique, and it's free anyway, so no real complaints there. Absolutely worth the purchase, I'd definitely recommend this 👍🏻

The poacher is fine except the design and fitment of the handle is very poor

As I am on a diet I wanted to be able to eat more poached eggs, but wanted a proper poacher, this is it, 20 odd poached eggs so far, it has made me the perfect poached egg every time, stainless steel construction, heavy and well made, it's a great buy that will last you a lifetime... Tip! spray the poacher with a very thin layer of 1 cal spray, as although they have an antistick coating, it does not work with eggs, the spray will make the poached egg pop out cleanly and you will have to only wipe them over for the next time... 5 minutes for a runny egg 5:30 for a semi-runny egg 6 minutes hard egg...

Ik ben er heel blij mee alleen Ik heb wel een bericht gestuurd naar klantenservice want er zit helaas een deuk in de pan. De pan komt uit Engeland maar hij is verzonden in zijn originele doos dus geen extra verpakking ter bescherming van de pan. Erg jammer want de pan is niet goedkoop. Hopelijk hoor ik snel iets van de klantenservice.

This is a great egg poacher. The non-stick finish of the cups is good, though I recommend buttering them for even easier removal of the good eggs and added flavour. The flat base and straight sides of the cups, rather than rounded ones, means beautifully even cooking. I lower the tray onto the boiling water, put the lid on and leave them for exactly three minutes to achieve set egg whites and lush, runny yolks.

I like that it works on my induction stove and how beautifully the eggs slide right out of the pan. Well made. The egg poacher will last for years.
