Code Alarm CATX1B Remote Start Remote + Programming Instructions (FCC ID: H5OT45)

Wow.... That was easy! Under 30 seconds to pair. Funny, but in my mind I thought it would be a challenge as car remote pairing usually are. When I saw press button on valet/override switch, I thought that was somewhere on the car so I googled it for my 2008 Lexus GS 350....I found a bunch of information on if you're parking the car with a valet and how to lock the trunk and glove box. I was confused. and I read the directions again and it was very clear that the button was on the remote starter antenna on the windshield which should have been obvious! Oh well, I guess I should have read the directions better! Although I would suggest to the company to include in the very short and good instructions they provide after push valet/override button to include "which is included on the antenna on the windshield or under the dash on the box???? Something like that...so when I guy doesn't have his coffee and isn't thinking straight he wont miss the very easy to follow instructions! Great product.... Works better and has better range than my old one.

I bought this for a replacement of mine that was just way past saving. It was really easy to connect to my car starter after I Googled some things. They could be a little more clear in the instructions. Over all it works great. I have no issues since paring it with my system.

I just recently purchased this product. I have to agree with previous reviews that accurately describe the the horrible way the instructions are set up. That would not be so bad if the customer service was not even MORE HORRIBLE. Tech who answered the phone was rude from the beginning! Then, as he proceeded to describe information he was giving me as "help" he became even more rude. I quickly terminated the conversation asking to be transferred to regular a customer service so l could find a local place in my area for assistance. As we all know..nothing will happen to the rude toned tech but hopefully some new customer service training will take place for future tech's.

After my son lost both of my remotes, I feel so lucky to have found this remote on amazon and it was really easy and simple to program it. Saved my life

Worked first time. Easy to follow instructions.

The button works as advertised but the instructions are very basic. We had to take it to a place that installs them to have them figure out where the reset button was because it’s an after market starter.

The remote is a perfect replacement for my worn out one. I programmed it after a call to the tech support number (provided) with the rather unclear instructions provided. Expect to be on the line waiting for at least 10-15 minutes. When you get someone to answer, you can expect a rude and unfriendly voice on the other end. I actually called two times, once for programming and another issue with a technical problem with my remote start/van that was due to the actual remote. This guy was rude as well. He told me I needed to have my van taken into the dealer that installed the remote start system and have it rewired....HA! I called a friend, he came over, disconnected the battery, everything re-set and all was well. So much for their very rude, not so smart tech support! If I had not called tech support I would have given 5 stars for the product.

Works great, and the programming instructions were easy. Only 3 steps, I had it programmed in less than 30 seconds.1) Turn the ignition on with the key2) Hold the "valet" button on the antenna unit until the parking lights flash (about 10 seconds)3) Press the button on the transmitter.Done.
