Dynasty 2000 Series Door Closer, Sprayed Duronotic Bronze, Spring 2

This is an excellent closer. The installation was straight forward. Easy to adjust the speed for closing and latching, making the door close smoothly and almost silently. I purchase this to replace a leaking closer from another manufacturer. I was able to use the existing arm and bracket, making the install even simpler. This model does not have an adjustment to require more force to open the door, or make the door "heavier." But the force was just right for my needs.

Watched a couple of install videos and then unboxed and put it up in less than an hour. Unless you have a solid wood door to put a screw in, which they provide, then you need to buy through bolts as I did to go through my hollow metal door. 1/4 X 2 1/2” long. Highly recommend this closer for the price. You can adjust how fast the door closes when you release it and when it gets closer to the latch, you can speed up how quickly it hits the latch if that’s necessary.

The screw that connects the arms could not be removed so I ended up struggling to set this up. Use the template given. Do not rely in measurements. Now I have two holes to patch 🙃. Aside from that it works great once you're past the installment.

My garage door is super bulky heavy and slams shut so quickly that I'd constantly get pinched. Getting this door closer was a game-changer! The instructions were easy to follow. If I really had to complain, it's that the already heavy door became even heavier after adding the closer~

This door closer was the perfect replacement part for our door closure. Once installed it was easy to adjust so the door closes smoothly. It is a good value compared to other I saw online.

The vertical hole spacing was spot on at 3/4" however the horizontal hole spacing was only 8 1/2" so it did not fit my mounting plate spacing which was 8 3/16". Would probably be an adequate closer for a new install or in a setting where hole placement would not be an issue.

I've tried the cheaper door closers and most have failed. This closes our bathroom door with a purpose. It is easily adjustable if you set the force too high, which you definitely can do. It has a commercial quality feel for a fraction of the price as other "commercial" units.

Works great, as intended. Pretty straight forward installation. Instructions are decent. Remember that opening/closing force is not adjustable so if you have small kids (4-5 y.o.) it may be a bit tough for them to open the door.

Perfect for our needs. Installation was a little tricky, but not overly difficult. The unit seems sturdy and well constructed. Once adjusting the valves we have the door closing at a comfortable speed and not too difficult to open
