Tie Rod End Kit, Fit for 1998-2004 Polaris Sportsman 335/400/500/600/700

I ended up receiving two boxes once saying L the other saying R so I took that as in in one box will be the left side of the four wheeler and the other one to be the right side of the four wheeler, but I was incorrect and it ended up being the R went on the inside and the left went on the outside on the left-hand side

The durability is a little weak. Twice they snapped off. The knuckleball is poorly fused to the mounting bolt

These fit the factory OEM tie rods with no problem. At first, I couldn’t figure out how to thread one side onto the tie rod, but one is a right handed thread, and the other side is a left-handed thread pattern. Once I realized that, they went on with ease. My steering problem is fixed! These are very inexpensive and work great. Now my wheels are aligned and straight.

It works fine until I took it to the Badlands and then they started to loosen up after A Hard Day's ride granite who knows it could have been me after a year of being installed but that's the only reason it's not five stars

Perfect fit, appears as strong as OEM

The ball somehow managed to shear off the stud, was driving over some rough terrain but the stock ones would've handled it fine any day. Both of the joints separated instantly freeing the link leaving the wheel entirely disconnected from the steering system. The tie rod link was NOT damaged nor bent in any way - it should go without saying in any critical system a tie rod end should not shear apart no matter the load, the tie rod should always be the weaker link, bending so the vehicle remains drivable. Upon further investigation under a microscope I noticed the steel was very porous on the inside where the ball connects to the stud, and I believe the fracture occurred due to its porosity (aka. piss poor Chinese "steel"). All tie rod ends were installed properly with red locktite and new cotter pins in the castle nut, all torqued to spec as well. I have only had them for a month! I would NEVER Buy these again for my Honda Rancher 400, I wouldn't buy these for a 350 either. These could easily get you killed based on how easily they sheared off. I was lucky and was just left stranded in a river near me, I had to walk back to my house and drive my truck and trailer up the river and loadup the ATV.
