Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Oxide Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 50 (2 fl. oz.)
This is my go-to mineral sunscreen for daily face use. It goes on dry, not greasy, and doesn’t cause breakouts. I appreciate that it’s fragrance-free and doesn’t sting my eyes. Works well under makeup too.✔ Tip: Warm it slightly between your fingers before applying—it helps spread it more smoothly and minimizes the white cast.

Excellent product
I decided to try a mineral sunscreen because I’m tired of my eyes burning from regular sunscreen. I use this out in the yard when I do gardening work. I used it for the first time two weeks ago and I was out in the yard for several hours and had no sunburn at all. Also, no burning in my eyes. It did leave a little bit of white cast, but for working in the yard it was fine.

Works but definitely not sheer AT ALL
Bought this for a trip to Maui, Hawaii since non-mineral sunscreen is banned to protect the reefs.Despite "sheer" being in the product name, this leaves a VERY visible white cast, I'm talking GEISHA white. It protected me from the sun, but it made me look absolutely crazy while wearing it.Seemed pretty waterproof, which was great for swimming and I needed to double cleanse to remove it all at the end of the day. Can't really knock it too much since, by nature, mineral sunscreen can't be invisible, but minus one star for calling it "sheer" when it was much closer to "opaque."Would not be good (for me) for daily wear; I'd probably try something tinted if I needed mineral face sunscreen, but I'll be sticking to chemical sunscreen now that I'm back on the mainland!

Excellent Sheer & Dry Touch Sunscreen!
Neutrogena’s Zinc Oxide Mineral Face Sunscreen Lotion with SPF 50 is oil-free, non-comedogenic & non-greasy. This 2 ounce tube was worth the $9.89 I paid for it! I give it a good shake & apply to my face which has been cleansed with vitamin C serum. This is not heavy. It’s a little running so be careful getting it out of the tube. A little goes a long way!! This doesn’t leave a white cast look on me. I’m able to apply my face primer & powder & one would never know I have sunscreen on. It’s definitely sheer & definitely dry touch. It absorbs quickly after a little bit of rubbing, not as much as other non zinc oxide mineral sunscreens I’ve used. The 50 SPF is an added bonus to this fabulous sunscreen. I’ve purchased Banana Boat’s powered sunscreen that I use to reapply as I don’t like to put sunscreen over my makeup especially if it’s a workday. If I’m outside at home I would reapply as I don’t usually wear makeup at home. I’m so happy I did my research on zinc oxide sunscreens. These are without all the harmful chemicals. This may be only 2 ounces but I foresee this lasting me awhile. I’ll definitely repurchase & I definitely recommend!

Too thick
It's a great sunblock but you have to rub it a lot. The white color stays solid white on your skin otherwise. I wouldn't trust its ability to block the sun rays unless you don't mind going out with white stuff all over.

Must have for long days in the sun, specially if you sweat
I have fair skin that is prone to burning and I was looking for an inexpensive mineral sunscreen. When I first tried this sunscreen, I found it slightly hard to apply and tacky on my skin due to the consistency as well as having a very white cast so I went back to my more expensive tinted mineral sunscreen. While my tinted sunscreen is more cosmetically elegant and easier to apply for daily use, I found that even with reapplying I would get sunburned on my hairline when I was out in the sun sweating. I decided to try this sunscreen again before a full day at the pool (used some foundation after applying to cover up the white cast), despite not reapplying and sweating for 4 hours out in the sun I had no sunburn whatsoever. So while I probably won't use this for daily use, I will definitely keep this around for days that I plan to be out in the sun for long periods of time, even if I have to use some foundation to tone down the white cast.

Very emollient and a temporary white cast - good for protecting hands!
This is a very emollient product, meaning it goes on very thick. It has a heavy white cast that fades in a few minutes. If you dark complected, this may not be for you. The white cast faded on me, but I'm very pale. It might linger on deeper skin tones. In trying to describe the scent, one minute it feels light and floral, the next it smells like ash.Instead of on my face, I'm using this product on my hands. I have extremely dry (and dare I say old-looking) hands. I always have. I know I need to apply sunscreen to my hands but then every time I wash my hands, the sunscreen disappears. This is a thick, clingy product and will not only provide the SPF that I need on my hands, but it makes them silky soft, too.Update:I have been using this product for a few days and also find that it is wonderful on my décolletage - aka my ( to my great dismay) aging neck and chest area. It gives me that glowing creamy look that I see on French women, that looks like they've applied foundation, but swear they wear very little makeup.I love it so much, I've updated my rating to 5 *****

I use this everyday.
As a 55 year old woman fighting to keep wrinkles and skin discoloration ( melasma) at bay, this product works very well. The zinc oxide ingredient works extra well to keep the damaging rays from ruining my skin.
