Gentle and effective
This is hands down my favorite toner. I apply it with a cotton pad and don’t have to use much so my bottles last much longer than any other toners I’ve tried, which helps make up for the higher price. It does its job while still hydrating and doesn’t leave a sticky film. I’ve been using this for almost a year now and plan to keep on using it.

Felt Strong & Had Passing Stinging But Well Tolerated By My Sensitive Dry Skin, Noticeable Benefits
This GOOPGLOW Flower Acids Resurfacing Toner by goop beauty contains chemicals exfoliants, which are acids that are better for exfoliating the skin than gritty scrubs that cause micro tears. The AHA citric acid is a main ingredient and there’s also citric acid that occurs naturally in Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract (another main ingredient). Per Paula’s Choice, “the AHAs lactic and glycolic acid have been shown to be more effective and less likely to promote a stinging reaction on skin” than citric acid. However, this toner also has the more gentle PHA Gluconolactone and Hydrolyzed Opuntia Ficus-Indica Flower Extract (prickly pear) that’s soothing yet helps retexturize the skin. This also has comforting dry skin ingredients, such as Sodium Hyaluronate and glycerin. It lacks the alcohol found in similar products, such as the goop Glycolic Acid Overnight Glow Peel that my skin doesn’t tolerate. The toner comes in a pretty glass bottle with a plastic lid that’s easy to use. I simply press down on one side to open and gently shake toner onto a cotton round. The lid can easily be unscrewed for those who don’t want to shake the bottle. The toner has a natural scent instead of chemical fragrance that I find light and pleasant. My skin is dry, sensitive and mature, so I start out slow with chemical exfoliants and avoid using other products with acids at the same time. I’ve been using this resurfacing toner about 2 weeks and use it about 4x a week as my skin may be too sensitive for daily use, and I don’t want to over exfoliate as it takes a long time for my skin to recover once irritated. My skin actually tolerates this resurfacing toner really well. It felt strong at first but has never dried my skin or caused irritation beyond initial light stinging and a little redness that passed quickly. I don’t get stinging or redness anymore. Citric acid is the likely cause of stinging I experienced at first and that some have described. While my skin is still damp, I promptly follow this toner with a gentle, hydrating serum, cream and face oil as needed. While it feels strong and did cause some stinging, my sensitive skin tolerates this toner well while many popular chemical exfoliants have irritated and even blistered my skin. My skin needs the exfoliation, and I notice benefits already. Pores on my nose look clearer, my skin is brighter, smoother and more hydrated. Also, a few little dark spots that reappeared over summer look a bit lighter (hoping continued use helps more). While citric acid as an exfoliant may be an unusual choice, my skin is doing well with this resurfacing toner and is getting real benefits. Love it. 5 stars. Made in USA.

This is a nightmare do not buy
I just started using the goop glow skin lotion and thought I would complete the regimen with this toner, particularly since it says it is for sensitive skin. I put a little bit of the toner on and immediately my skin started burning. I waited a minute to see if the burning it would go away but I started to notice my face getting very red and splotchy which has never happened before. I had to washed my face to get it off my skin and put my most soothing face oil on and my skin still feels very raw. I am going to try to return this. What a waste of money and I’m very disappointed in goop. They’ve lost me as a skincare customer

GOOPGLOW Flower Acids Resurfacing Toner
I don't usually use any chemical exfoliant on my skin because it's too sensitive and many are way too strong for me. But, sometimes I want something more gentle than a physical scrub and a little stronger than just a witch hazel astringent.GoopGlow sounded like something my skin would either love or hate, so of course I decided to risk it.So happy I tried! It doesn't burn or make my skin itch. It plays very well with my sunscreen in the morning, and my night creams. It also really helps my face oils absorb! Along with that, it actually does make my skin look more even and balanced. It took about two weeks of twice a day use to really see if it was making a difference, but it smells nice - it's a very light but clean and feels good when applying.I like the glass bottle it comes in, its looks good and feels like a little daily luxury to use. Bonus, the push open top doesn't have to be fully removed and prevents me from over pouring, I do a little tap/shake on my round and it starts the toner flowing at just the right pace. The texture is a little thicker than a typical astringent, but not as thick as a serum. Instructions say to use your next step, (mine is a facial oil), when your skin is still damp.I've been using the GoopGlow twice a day for about a month and I've barely used a quarter of the bottle, so it's going to last a long time. For the quality and results, the price is good!

This Works! Helps Vitamin C Work Better Too!
I used this on its own and followed with a hydrating night cream and I can't say that I was very impressed with the results. Then, I started a new night time specific Vitamin C hyperpigmentation regime and it recommended prepping the skin with AHA and BHA for best results. Well, I don't like using those acids, they tend it irritate my skin: 40+ years old, fair, freckled, dry to combination type. I liked the night time regime well enough, but then I remembered this product and that it was like a AHA/BHA so I began using this to prep for the same regime. It made a HUGE difference! I could tell immediately that I was getting much more of a benefit from my Vitamin C when I started with this toner. I am very pleased!About the toner itself, it is thin and watery and sinks into skin leaving it feeling hydrated and soothed. No burning, no irritation, no dryness at all. A little goes a long way with this toner, so it will last longer than anticipated. It has no discernable scent to me, though I am not someone who is bothered my scents or sensitive to them. The bottle is glass, which I like. I try to avoid plastics when possible.
