Very Sharp
Very high quality product. Very sharp. I have medium sized hands and it handles great at what it is intended to do. For the price, a soft sheath or a cover for traveling would be nice instead of the durable, plastic fantastic, retail store packaging that has no use but to be recycled. I would prefer the hard to open blister packaging or better yet, carboard if it saves a few bucks. Ending on a positive note, I wish I had this 30 years ago.

Scissor comparison
I use an old German-made Solingen scissors I've had for 30 years and wanted a second set for travel. After reading the reviews, I bought the Rubis Stainless and the Tweezerman Stainless, based on price, thinking I'd return one. I kept both, for different reasons.Other brands were slightly more expensive, and these both got reasonably good reviews. The Rubis is shorter and thicker, but cuts well and seems very well made. I kept them for travel, and I expect they'll get through the TSA with no fuss due to the short blades. They have a matte finish that looks stain resistant, but I wouldn't expect to get many stains out of my nose... The thicker blades do require a little more thought to get a closer trim in my nostril, but I manage ok.The Tweezerman has longer, thinner blades. It also seems well made and cuts well. It also has a matte finish which seems stain resistant. The finish is darker than the Rubis, as shown in the image. I kept this pair to leave in a summer home and as an eventual replacement for my old German ones.I expect both of them might rust if stored wet, but I have had no issues with either pair.

WELL MADE & VERY EFFECTIVE SAFETY SCISSORS
Fed up with replacing batteries in my electric nose hair trimmer, and finding it's blades dull and hurtful to use, I decided to research 'no-battery' nose hair trimmers. This trimmer is extremely well made, moves very smoothly, and works well for lefties (me) and right-handed folk (husband). It's safety features are good ones and I've never cut myself or pulled a nose hair. Have owned this for 2 years and it's as good today as when it was new. After use I wash it with soap & water then rub with alcohol. THIS IS A VERY GOOD PRODUCT THAT I CAN RECOMMEND HIGHLY.

Works well, not sure about finish
I don't see any reason to use an electric trimmer when simple scissors can do the job just as easily, and you never have to worry about it pulling hairs. It's also nice not to have to use yet more batteries. These scissors do the trick. The extremely short blade length make them very easy to control, they take up less space, they're easier to clean, and of course they don't require batteries. Despite what another reviewer said, the blades are ever-so-slightly curved to one side. Not as much as other brands, but IMHO it really doesn't make a big difference. Some reviewers feel the blades are too thick; I suppose they could be thinner, but again, I haven't found it to be an issue. The only issue I have with these scissors is the finish. As others have mentioned, the scissors will rust rather easily if wet. If you like to rinse scissors under the sink, be sure to pat them down and leave them opened to dry. Otherwise, skip water and just wipe them clean. If not for that, they would get 5 stars.

Pricy but worth it
The tips of these scissors are ground thin, which allows them to trim very close to the inside of the nostril. The thinness may mean that the tips can bend if you abuse them, but so far, so good here. The build quality is excellent, and using these scissors feels smooth and precise. Very satisfng feel in the hand

well made, but blades far too thick.
I tried all sorts of nose hair trimmers before purchasing these. I've had 4 different electric trimmers which, I am now convinced, are all a waste of money. there is no such thing as a good electric trimmer. I also tried the Groom Mate Platinum cylindrical manual trimmer, which did trim hairs, but not at all closely. Groom Mate left nearly 1/4" of each hair, if it trimmed, at all. Cheap, drug store, blunt tipped scissors out-performed all of the above. Rubis boasts a surgical craftsmanship far beyond any other nose scissors or trimmer that I have found. The big problem with the Rubis scissors is how thick they are. Amazon does not provide a close-up image of the blade tips, which are more than 1/8 inch thick. So, while these scissors will cut the thickest and the most fine of hairs, my drug-store cheap scissors trimmed the hair nearer to the skin. The cheap drug store versions loosened up to uselessness within a few weeks, but they had flat blades and didn't cost thirty dollars. I'm still looking for the perfect scissors. I recommend the Rubis scissors only to people with thick old-man hair growing like a bush from the nose and ears. It should be perfect for that. Trim your bushy eyebrows with it. However, someone with fine, metro, personal grooming should get something cheaper with a flat tip. Amazon was great.

best ever grooming scissor
i had been using small, pointed-tip scissor to groom ear and nose hair!yes, a little daunting.these round-tipped scissors are game-changer; no hazard with sharp tips.and they are sharp and smooth-operating.great swiss precision.

Precise and durable. Worth every penny.
Although this is a bit spendier than other scissors, you get what you pay for.It still cut like new, and I haven’t made any adjustments.
