I was unintentionally killing my beautiful Thanksgiving cactus that had been healthy and robust for years. It had been damaged when the cat knocked it over, then started doing worse after I repotted it. I was unsure what sort of potting mix to use and had added sand to regular potting soil, which seemed to be the wrong thing. When the plant continued to decline, I decided to try a cactus-specific commercial mix, figuring they must know better than I do. That turned out to be the right move. The plant is looking healthy, and has started to grow new leaf sections. I also used this soil for some of my aloes and they are also doing well. Highly recommended.

This soil is very good I have ten Christmas cactus and I replanted each one with my new pots they all bloomed this year except for three of them and now they are blooming also the soil was a good investment thank you
