Slicker Brush for Dogs, Pet Grooming Brushes for Doodles & Poodles, Large

I absolutely LOVE this brush — it deserves way more than 5 stars! I have two doodles (a Goldendoodle and a Mini Bernedoodle), and this is hands down the best grooming tool I’ve ever used for them. They both enjoy it so much, it feels like a mini spa day every time I brush them. It glides through their coats with ease, and the amount of loose hair and tangles it removes is incredible. We just got back from the groomers, and this brush keeps them looking fresh, fluffy, and professionally groomed between appointments. The bristles are firm yet gentle, and the ergonomic handle makes it super comfortable to use — even for longer sessions. What really impresses me is how smooth it works through the curls and waves of both of my dogs’ coats. I have the well known coral handled slicker brush by a different supplier. The We Love Doodles brush is better. I prefer this brush as the bristles are not as stiff which does not hurt my doodles skin. He does not liked to be brushed with “the other” brush but does not mind We Love Doodles brush at all. Their products are great

My coworker in the grooming salon I work in has this brush. I tried it a few times and liked it. I bought my own Doodle brush. I have brushed a lot of dogs with it and it is durable. It helps detangle the coats and gets deeper in the coat than a regular slicker brush. We get a lot of doodles. If a doodle is not brushed well by their pet parent, I recommend they get this brush and a finishing comb in the grooming notes. The Chris Christensen brush is the best brush for doodles and poodles, but it is expensive and a lot of pet parents don't want to spend that much. I did not want to buy a 70 dollar brush yet. I may still get a Chris Christensen Brush later in my career. It also works well on other heavy thick coat types. It works good for long double coated dogs like Great Pyrenees and Burmese Mountain dogs. It is good for plush coats too. I use it more than any other brush I have. The groomers and customers are very happy with my brush and blow drys. I am training to be a groomer and plan to use it in my career. It improved my work from when I was using a Safari Slicker brush.

Needed a new slicker brush and I’m very happy with this one! Have only used it a few times so I can’t speak to how it’ll hold up but the brush feels like a solid unit and the long pins feel strong. Didn’t see a lot of reviews for double coated dogs but it works great on my Aussie and Collie! My Aussie has a wavy/coarse coat and my Collie has very long and a lot of fine hair. It was effective in getting hair off both dogs, even going through their long butt bloomers. I was worried about the hair being hard to get out of the brush since some slicker brushes it’s difficult but it’s actually pretty easy with the long pins! I use this brush second in my grooming step after I’ve detangled with a pin hairbrush, finishing with a metal comb.

This is the best slicker brush for doodles and poodles! I have tried many others that look like this brush but they don’t hold up. This was my second purchase but not because my original brush broke, but because I needed a second brush. Im not saying it’s easy to brush out these curly characters, but it makes it easier. If they’d just hold still!

Excuse the lazy boy photos! I purchased this brush after it was recommended by a social media personality , girlwithadoodle. I have tried three kinds of brushes. The first scratched my dog, the second broke and the third did not break through his curls. This brush is amazing. It takes out small tangles, pulls out loose hair, gives my boy a nice fuzzy coat, and is effortless to use. No pulling needed on my part! Highly recommend! For reference my Labradoodle is 65lb. He is an F1b and has a very curly coat. He is groomed every 8 weeks and we keep him a bit longer especially in the winter. First pic is before brushing. Second is after.

Good but I don't think excellent unfortunately. So wanted to love this product due to good reviews and higher price. Prongs are sharp and seem abit evil. My Cavapoo is brushed daily so difficulty getting through the coat is not due to excessive tangles. I use a comb afterwards too. Have now started using a detangling spray as suggested somewhere.

The tines are a good length and stiff enough to get through his fur. The price was fair. I fully recommend it.
