I really love this paper. The 24 lb weight feels nice and thick in your hands, definitely a step up from the flimsy stuff you get in cheap multipurpose packs. It feels “premium” without being so heavy that it jams or bulks up your binder. It runs smoothly through both my inkjet and laser printer—no jams, no weird curling, and very minimal show-through even when I print double-sided. Colors look clean, text is sharp, and I haven’t had issues with ink smearing or toner flaking off. It’s great for things like school forms, letters, printables for the kids, and basic documents that you still want to feel a little nicer than normal copy paper. Price-wise, this is where it really wins. For a thicker 24 lb sheet, it’s cheaper than anything comparable I’ve seen at big box stores. I don’t feel like I’m paying some extra “fancy paper” tax just to get decent quality. If I had to nitpick, it’s not glossy or super bright-white like specialty paper, so if you’re doing high-end photo prints or really color-critical stuff, this might not be your first choice. And a full ream of 24 lb is a bit heavier and takes up more space than the ultra-thin 20 lb packs, so storing a bunch of them can be slightly annoying. But overall, for everyday printing where you want something that feels a little more substantial than cheap copy paper without breaking the bank, this stuff is kind of perfect. I keep grabbing it without even thinking now, it’s just my default paper.

We do a lot of printing for conferences, so we balance the cost with the quality of the paper. We've been leaning toward the HP laser specific 28 lb paper for customer facing proposals and documents, but find that this paper is of a decent quality. It's bright enough and thick enough to look decent unless you compare it to a brighter, thicker paper. For day to day printing, it's great. It doesn't jam, is a good value for the money and it prints faster than with the thicker stock paper due to it not cooling the drums too much. All in all, it's a versatile paper for most purposes at a decent price.

I like this paper due to the bright white, the weight, and packaging. I like the weight because I often print on both sides of a sheet and none of the other side shows through.

Got this for calligraphy practice. Works super nice. Not my everyday go to though because it’s too pricey for the average paper needs. But it’s nice for when higher quality paper is needed.

This is exceptional paper, and the second ream I’ve purchased from Amazon in 18 months. I appreciate its 24 lb. weight for durability and zero bleed-through for double-sided printing, its level 97 brightness that provides sharp contrast and its extraordinarily smooth finish that I suspect contributes to its jam-free characteristic. The texture of this paper is incredibly soft. Hammermill has been the gold standard of printer paper for as long as I can remember, and the original manufacturer of paper designed specifically for laser printers. Although, this particular ream (500 pages) is ideal for inkjet printers, as well. I also appreciate the Hammermill brand because of their endurability over the past 128 years in the United States, as well as their strong commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. Their efforts include reforestation, water use reduction and sourcing their product from sustainable tree farms. I’m also grateful that Amazon continues to carry this brand, in different types, and at such a great price.
