Very stiff.
These rollers are way too stiff and they don’t stand in place. You might get away with using them on very long hair like 22 inches and higher.

Just…..bad
I never write poor reviews, but these rollers deserve zero stars. First off, I’ve used flexi rods, perm rods, pillow rollers, sponge rollers, magnetic rollers, curlformers, you name it I’ve tried it. They all have their flaws and benefits so I’m writing this from a place of familiarity with hair rollers of all types. These rollers are like worse flexi rods. They have a nice satin covering, sure, but it is way harder to connect the clasps(?) than it would seem. They don’t click or give any feedback whatsoever when they’re connected, so half the time when you think they’re connected they really aren’t and fall right out. Also, after trying to use them for the FIRST TIME one broke, leaving the clasps connected and the seam ripped where the clasp used to be. They aren’t NEARLY as comfortable to wear as it would seem (I’d rather sleep in perm rods tbh) and just all around fiddly to use. They’re also incredibly stiff, not soft at all, imagine trying to connect the ends of a flexi rod and you’ll have a good idea of these. I really wanted to love these rollers as a way to maintain a bit of stretch and curl (I have natural hair) overnight after I’ve done a proper roller set, but they just aren’t it. Overall lame, if you read this then take my advice and just get some normal pillow rollers tbh. They’re way easier, way more comfortable, and they’re going for like $15 for 30 of them on Amazon.

Heavy and painful
If you have long, thick hair they will be heavy, not secure and pull your hair like crazy. I did the tricks to "secure" them but I could feel my hair being pulled all over because of how they hang off of your head. I took them off within 5 minutes. They're just too heavy and floppy.

The only rollers that don’t ruin my sleep
Love these pillow rollers. I have a really sensitive scalp and most rollers end up bothering me or making it hard to sleep, but these don’t at all. They’re actually comfortable enough to wear overnight, which is huge for me. They stay snapped in place really well, so I’m not waking up with them falling out, and they don’t leave weird dents or creases in my hair (I have pretty thin hair, so that’s usually an issue). Highly recommend if you need something quick and easy for early mornings when you don’t have time to fully style your hair. Super low effort but still gives you a nice result.

Might work but very difficult to unsnap
I really wanted to like these rollers and was excited when they arrived last night. I have several other products from this company and have been pleased with the quality. These foam rollers, however, were highly disappointing. The pros: they are well-constructed and seem sturdy. The satin cover is nice and won't damage hair. I have very long, very thick hair and when I wrapped a section of hair around the roller, it stayed, even though my hair was dry, with minor slippage. I believe that they would effectively curl hair but I can't guarantee that as I only did a test with one, for a few minutes. I simply wanted to test to see if they were comfortable and easy to use. In terms of rolling your hair, they are easy to use. I gave them 1 star because after rolling my hair on one roller and securing it, I could not unsnap the roller to remove it from my head. I tried to pull the snap apart repeatedly and could not. I had to ask my husband to pry the snap apart and he, too, struggled. I know that the snap needs to be secure to hold, but this was a bit too much. One he finally pried it apart, I tested the snap when the roller wasn't rolled and sitting on my head--it is still extremely hard to pry part (see picture). Maybe I got a bad batch. Maybe they loosen over time. But I can't imagine dealing with this frustration daily. I also see the potential for individual hairs to twist and catch around the plastic snap. So, sadly, I am returning these and hope that the other option, the one long foam roller, works better.

TLDR; Good product, LOTS of USER ERROR - Look up tutorials to put them in correctly
TLDR; Good product, LOTS of USER ERROR - Look up tutorials to put them in correctly I hated these at first, ngl. Are these a bad product? Nope. Not from my experience. Is there a learning curve with lots of USER ERROR attached to this product/reviews? Absolutely. It took a solid week to figure out how to use them after scouring the interwebs for videos on how to put them in. My hair looked like I had a super frizzy perm the first couple of days. I finally found some vids on t*kt*k. If you don't know how to use them, your hair will look like a hot garbage pile. Once you figure it out, however, you will have nice curls. Overall, they work for me and give me nice curls without the heat. I do still have to fix a piece here and there, but otherwise, they are great. (I have bangs and have to get a round brush out anyway lol) The most important things when putting the rollers in is that your hair needs to be more than slightly damp, but NOT soaking wet, THE DIRECTION IN WHICH YOU SET THE CURL WITH THE ROLLER, and that you link all the rollers together to stay secure. I have fine, fairly thin, mostly straight, a little longer than shoulder-length color processed hair. I can let it dry for around 45 minutes then put the rollers in. The hair HAS to be brushed or combed, laid flat on the rollers, and you have to TUCK the ends of your hair when you begin to roll. I thought I could use 4 the first few times I did it. I now use all 6. When I roll the hair, I only pull the hair slightly taught with the end tuck and I think about the direction of the curl (away from my face.) This helps minimize ugly curls. When I pull the rollers out the next morning, I usually let the curls sit like little Shirley Temple curls for about an hour before brushing them out with my fingers. Now, is every head of hair perfect? No, but life isn't perfection. Anyway, the product itself is nice. I've seen tons of folks complaining about the "dirty rollers" but.....they are supposed to have a marbled look...kinda like the Kitsch Marbled Satin pillowcases they sell...so there's that. I've also seen the reviews where the foam is "ultra squished down" and yeah.....that happens when you pull your hair way too tight in the rollers. Don't let the reviews deter you. I'm probably about to buy a second pair to put in stock in my cabinet.

Worked great for my hair
I have shoulder length, thick, naturally curly (combo 3b and 4a). I ordered two sets in order to do my whole head. After washing and deep conditioning my hair, I sectioned out my very wet hair and went in with some hair oil and my favorite curling cream and made sure to link each roller together. Which got a little tricky for the back of my head but the top layers it was pretty easy to get the hang of. I also made sure that I rolled them two different directions rolling towards my head with the first row, away the second, etc. after I got them all in I wrapped my whole head with a satin hair scarf and went about my day. If I would have left them in over night they would have been tighter curls but I took them out after about 8 hours (tried these on a Sunday when I knew I had time and no plans to go anywhere) and the curls looked like my typical second day curl pattern/shape. As my hair tends to take quite a while to air dry anyways, it was about 65% dry when I removed the rollers. I will definitely be trying these again doing the same thing - very wet hair, hair oil/curl cream, and cover with scarf, but will sleep on them and probably just leave them in until completely dry when I get to work the next day.

Uncomfortable and Disappointing Results
I was really disappointed with these. I already have the Kitsch satin heatless curling headband, which is okay, but it doesn't curl the back of my hair very well. I thought these pillow rollers would be a better option. Unfortunately, they were terrible to sleep in—they were uncomfortable and actually hurt. I have fine hair that's a little past my shoulders, and the rollers didn't stay in well. The ones that did stay in left my hair looking like a hot mess instead of soft curls. These just didn't work for me, and I'll be returning them.
