Mini Amp Clear

These Amps are Fantastic ! Got my first Smokey Clear Today , and I am Very Impressed ,( 1 ) The design = A+( 2 ) Function = A+( 3 ) Tone , alone is good for 2" speaker( 4 ) Tone , driving a 10" 4 ohm speaker = loud and crunchy , really louder than you think( 5 ) Tone , in front of another amp as fuzz box, = loud and punchyI tried the rotor effect and , Yes a nice modulation, fast or slow , sounded coolI tried as talk box and was able to vocalize some cools tonesI used this as a Wah wah on the floor with my foot and loved it , chica Wah wahI tried using as a slide and the feedback is cool with sustain up the wazzoo,I really like these little amps , best thing for guitar players since , well a very long time.As I have been playing 35+ years and have had most every gear know to man, this Smokey Amp Clear is clearly one the best designs i have ever seen , simplicity at its best,I can go on all day about these Smokeys , Thank you for your contribution to the guitar industry. Hats off !!!! The best deal around !!!

While this amp serves a purpose, there are new amps from Sonic Pipe Amps, [...] that blow this away. The model T-1 and T-2 are both loud and strong, they work from 9 v battery, play it clean of fuzzy and have fun. Move upto the model E-3 and fill the room with sound, still portable with 9v batteries

This is weird. I received this in the mail. Opened the package and noticed that the amp was rattling. I took a screwdriver and opened the case to realize that none of the electronics components were soldered to the board! Is this a DIY kit, because it's not advertised as such. I'd imagine that it was just a case of very poor quality assurance. In any case, I returned this for a full refund. It looked very cool and I wish it was put together. I ended up buying the Purple Sparkle version, and am very happy with it.

The only thing which is lacking from this "unit" is a clip to attach to self with. Home Depot here I come to remedy this oversight. PEACE

This thing is awesome. Never imagined so much sound can come out of such a small thing. I take this when I travel with one of my guitars. It is perfect when practicing somewhere in the house or hotel room etc...

Awesome little amp, very durable if you get this version, not sure about the durability of the cigarette box version. When played as portable it doesn't sound half bad. When used as an amp head it really sings. You can set your guitar volume low for a clean tone and high for some slight crunch and fuzz. I seems in the realm of a vintage marshall tone when cranked. I recommend bridge position. I prefer using it with my single coil but some might prefer a humbucker guitar with it. I use both types of guitars but prefer the single with it as the tone is more focused. Add a reverb pedal or play it dry. It sounded great through my 1x12 and even better through my 4x12.

These little amps are so fun and cool. It's amazing what you can push with the extention speaker out, it can power my 8x10 cab. Definitely a great buy.

This is a very cool little app. It creates lots of distortion. Keith Richards bought hundred of them for his closest friends.
