A certain pitch that may work on one dog, may not work on your dog. You can adjust the frequency to work perfectly with your dog. HOW CAN I TRAIN MY DOG WITH YOUR WHISTLE? To adjust the pitch sound simply twist the screw until you find the sound that works best for your dog. Pay attention to your dogs facial expressions and once you have found the sound that works, you can tighten the locking nut to keep the screw from becoming loose. Now, you can train your dog by using different whistle patterns for the commands you want the dog to perform. Example: 1 short whistle can mean "Come" 2 short whistles can mean "Sit" 1 long whistle can mean "Stay" Practice one at a time until the dog learns the pattern, then move on to the next pattern. Be sure to reward your pup with a treat every time they obey a whistle command. HOW DO I USE YOUR WHISTLE TO PREVENT BARKING? Training your dog requires time, patience, and dedication. If you follow these 3 rules, our whistles are guaranteed to stop barking. When your pup starts barking, give a loud, quick whistle at a high frequency and say "No barking!" They will stop barking when they hear the noise, then follow up with love and a treat. Repeat until they learn that they are not allowed to bark.
