Stile repair
I love this pine veneer. It is so easy to work with. I just used wood glue to repair my cracked stile. I just need to stain it.

Good Quality Veneer
I bought this to improve the look of stair risers. The package contained two pieces of veneer which was a pleasant surprise. The ends on one set of veneer showed slight cracking. But, There was enough to do the job. This veneer is paper thin and needs to be handled carefully. We applied it using spray on contact cement. The final product looks very good.

Long wait, amazingly thin veneer!
I was impressed that a pine veneer, which is hard to find, was available. But when it arrived, it was laughable. So thin (.01") that you can see through it. It is the same product you find on the awful Chinese plywood as their finished ply. YOU CAN ONLY LIGHTLY SAND THIS STUFF BY HAND OR YOU WILL GO RIGHT THROUGH IT. I'll have to double up on the plys but I'd need 4 plys of this junk to match an American veneer.

From China and Amazingly Thin Veneer
The veneer took a relatively quick time to arrive as it came directly from China. It is ridicuously thin measuring .001". Most veneers in the USA are at least .004 which makes a huge difference. This veneer is literally pape thin! I'll try putting some on mdf to see if it shows through as this stuff is nearly translucent. It is clear, flat cut without a paper back, (I use veneers w/o paperback.), and came tightly rolled and wrapped on plastic that was also securely taped. It was a challenge to get in! I will probably double layer on whatever substrate. Sanding will have to be by hand using 320 grit and above as it will be difficult to not sand through this stuff!
