My son needed something for school showing Mt Shasta. This was perfect & cost effective. He used the colors in the middle and built around it. He built it all on his own with extra lego he had around the house. Theses fit with Lego bricks perfectly & the bag it came with was a plus.My son is proud of his mountain and that's what is most important.

Decent price and arrived quickly. Like the drawstring bag it comes with. My son started building immediately after receiving it. Lots of fun!

Yeah, they're off-brand but you can hardly tell and you can get so many for relatively little money.

There is a good variety of bricks included in this set. It also comes with a plain orange "string backpack." The blocks fit together nicely -- with each other, as well as with the "name brand" bricks. There is a good assortment of colors (including the fairly rare orange) and a nice variety of block types. The blocks are separated into bags, grouped roughly by the type of block -- including one bag containing small "specialty" components. The only directions/guide included is a page showing each letter of the alphabet made out of bricks. My kids love this, because they usually prefer to make up their own creations.

They do technically fit, but you have to work for it.

For all the cool sets and bits out there, if you REALLY want your kids to get creative and branch out to making their own stuff, you gotta get them LOTS of basic foundation building bits. Sets like these are a good value and get them a lot of the items they'll need lots and lots of.... bricks.These fit well with the big name and are well-made. I would definitely order them again.

This set will make a really great gift at a very affordable price. I like that these blocks work with the brand name blocks so any child that already has the brand name blocks or starter sets can add extra features or buildings with this set and they supposedly match well in color also. They did not include any instructions, pictures, or ideas for building. The colors are vibrant and all of the blocks seem to be perfectly formed and fit together well. I do wish there were a few more of the larger/longer blocks in this set but they did include some specialty pieces. There are a lot of the smaller individual pieces with just one snap on top and also some tiny pill-shaped pieces that would definitely be a danger to an infant/small toddler so be aware of that if you are gifting these. They include a storage bag with the set. The set is well worth the cost!
