The length of refill is more. So, I had to cut a small portion. The ink quality is medium. Overall it is value for money. But double check with the size of refill and be sure about the dimensions.

The length of the refill is long by about 1/8 inch than the original Cross refill.The writing is smooth with the refill used standalone. It worked in that way for me for about 250 meters of writing.
