Hansel and Gretel

My daughter actually let me read the story TWICE. She LOVES books but doesn't have the patience to wait through a whole story most nights (she's 2) but this book (as well as the Gingerbread Man) captured her attention the whole way through. She loved the colorful pictures and the story brought back memories of when I was little so it was great to have that nostalgic moment with her. The book has a puffy hardcover and the pages inside are glossy paper. I plan on buying more of these stories to complete the set I remember growing up with. Good size too. My daughter will sit in my lap or lay her head on my shoulder if we're in bed and will often times ask me to read the story twice in a row. The big pages and size of the book helps keep her attention because there's always something interesting to look at. Definitely a favorite in my house.

This is an AWESOME book!!!! Ever since I can remember, I have always loved the story of Hansel and Gretel and I have several books. This book does not disappoint and it is a welcome addition to my collection. It is beautifully written and illustrated. Lovely book to read to little ones. I highly recommend this to others!!!!

Great version with fantastic illustrations! I bought a lollipop that looks like the one on the cover and used it on the wrapped gift instead of a bow. That win over very well.

This is awful! I read it to my 3 year old once and I was so surprised at how bad it was. It has an Evil stepmother, abandoning the kids, killing and wanting to cook and eat the kids. I will be returning or throwing it out.

It is a good book, my son loves it but some of the story was a bit off. It says they leave the trail of bread crumbs (as in the original story) but never says it was to help the find their way home.

I bought this for a gift. Great quality book. Any child would love this story read to them.

Arrived as promised and in excellent condition. My 4 year old was thrilled!
